Sorry but you are blind.

hybrid formation. At times it was 433(actually more like a 4321), at other times it was 4231. Mancini and Alegri are both trying this hybrid formation stuff this season

Although, personally I thought it was 4321 the majority of the time

We were pretty chaotic formation-wise. Ljajic, Perisic and Brozovic were roaming around a lot on the 1st half. They had no fixed positions. On the 2nd one after the red card we played 4-4-1 with Ljajic as LM and Perisic as RM.

Was his decision making good at Parma? I feel like that is his biggest downfall. As if he takes too long to decide on what he wants to do!

I think whenever a guy runs that quickly that their decision making will be questionable. However, at least technically is he pretty decent

Its a close call for MOTM. My vote is for Kondogbia. He was the only one who played well for 90 minutes, and showed some classy moves. Now I wait for GDS give him a poor rating.

Ljajic, Brozovic, Juan, Miranda, and Handanovic also had a good game.

Brozo mom , he ran alot , boss the midfield after melo sent off, and his pass lead the goal toward ljajic and icardi, although he was a bit tired in the end of second half and give couple free chances to bologna, anyway its a team win, they all fought hard even mancini with his words against Banti leading to his sent off, forza Inter.

I didn't see what you saw in Kondogbia. He's a player I like, but I thought he started quite poor. Eventually got better, and then he visibly tired

Comedic Post of the Year
Juan is the best defensive LB that we have. Telles was owned much more by pacey wingers.

Agreed, hence my quote of Juan's admission that Biabiany's pace helped his game grow.

Juan's original quote:

Cuadrado? With him I lost five pounds. I couldn't contain him since it's not easy to mark a player so fast but I am training to mark Biabiany and the two of them have very similar characteristics.

Also, let's reverse Shaun's speed question.

Can we say that our ball extraction from the back was slow? When we compare Miranda and Ranocchia's contribution to that of Murillo, was there a missing element tonight with our passing and build up pace?

Brozovic was playing as an AMC & we were quite clearly playing an awful rigid & predictable 4-2-3-1 until around the 60 minute mark where we then changed to 4-3-1-2, we unsurprisingly played better. I was screaming for this change after the first 10 minutes, it took Mancini 60 minutes. What I loved about Mourinho & what made him great, is that if something was wrong he'd see it instantly & waste no time in changing it, even if it was only five minutes into a game. It was clear to see we were struggling & were all over the place because of this 4-2-3-1 setup.

I hope by the end of this season we will be a flexible team capable of smoothly transitioning between 4-3-1-2 and 4-2-3-1 depending on the context & opposition (we've played well and poorly with both formations already this year) but with at this stage this new team I can see why Mancini is wary of being too tactically demanding.

Horrible game, hardly a win against the shittiest serie a team. Now do not lose against Roma, pls, so we can keep the momentum

I think we have a tendency to play down/up to the opponent. So I think we'll play well against Roma, but I want a win. Fuck this draw shit. And I'd rather Mancini go for the win and show some balls, cuz if we win, that should announce to league that we're a serious contender this year.

We started playing well after Melo was dismissed, and I was not surprised. Playing with players like Medel and Melo limits our choices in attack and limits the amount of touches our creative players get. Once we don't play with Medel or Melo we are far better. I wish Mancini had the guts to play without Medel against Roma, and use Brozovic, Kondogbia to lead the midfield. They are young, yes, but at least we'll have a chance at scoring.

I can't begin to explain how much I hate Ranocchia and how bad he was. He should never touch an Inter jersey ever again.
