It was offside, but who cares, it is goal and we count it as one.

ADRIGOL!

It was a dubious call since their legs were in line, but I don't care. :D

(And can I ask the bashers to leave him alone, he's had some excellent passes before, too!)

Yeah, he was. But in terms of evaluating situations at this forum over the past days, I'm pretty sure everyone will say it was a penalty. :D

It could have been given, just as yesterday's pen. It's just refs, 5 out of 10 would've given it.

The refereeing in this WC has been disgraceful! It's absolutely crystal clear that Adri was offside, you don't need it in slow motion to see it. Anyways, still happy for Adri. Hopefully, this is gonna revive his dying career. :D

Nice goal by Ronaldo too, reminiscence of the goal he scored against Lazio in Paris, although he is 1/2 the player he was and did only 1/2 amount of stepovers.

No penalty, Adriano wanted to do the same thing Pippo did to Peter Cech but the problem is that the goalie went to his right leg which supported Adriano while doing his manuvere, thus Adri ot confused and thus went for a stepover and attempted to either give himself some clearance and space or to give it to Ronaldo.
Another thing, the goalie didn't seem to put any skin on Adri so there might have been some acting.
Lastly, Adri was really offside in the ball, even I could tell even before the replay was on, it was really clear, crappy linesman.

2nd half, FORZA ADRI!

(Btw, it's nice that Ronaldo scored but watching his attempts to accelerate was just painful. :D)

Clearly offside, and wasnt really a finish as it deflected off the defender in front.

Ghana very unlucky.

I don't recall any stepovers in Parc Des Princes by Ronaldo, he just jumped around confusing the goalie, this goal was one stepover and a cool push into the goal.
On another though, yeah, it is just a bit similar. ;)

Ghana dident have finishers to bad.

At 1-0 the game was ok,kaka pulled the hole brazilian team again afther him.Second goal was ofisde, and there were alot of mistakes afther it in favor of brazil,i dont know if brazil dident diserve to win,but ghana certantly dident diserve to loose like that.

Right now Brazil reminds me of the rely smart quite kid you get in a classroom at school. They know all the answers to the teachers questions but they never put their hand up to give the answer. Brazil have all the tricks, but theres something just not working for them at the moment.

Fair dooes to Gahna they had a go and like Akasha says they just couldnt take any chances. They outplayed Brazil some of the match.

Adriano would've scored another had he stayed on, he contributed alot more in this game than Ronaldo did.

Brazil also could've won by a larger margin if they really wanted to, credit to Ghana for trying to get full points.

By the way, does anyone know what happened to Ghana's coach? He didn't come out for the second half.

Adriano also missed a sitter when he could have easily passed the ball to Ronaldo in front of an empty net, a player who's missed so much this season shouldn't make such mistakes in the WC, it worries me.

Adriano got back to defend when Ghana had the ball and he was involved in the midfield play as well while Ronaldo was standing in front of the box like a fat kid waiting in line at McDonald's.

Oh yeah I'm surely not disputing the fact that Adriano works harder, but he's a striker, we know what his main job is.

Ronaldo was just the same during his prime, he has never worked hard for the team.

Adri was put as AM, not striker. I saw on TV the formation, only the fatboy striker, support strikers Ronaldinho and Adriano. This just don't work for Adri.

Know what? I maybe look foolish and a bit crazy, but Muntari impressed me all WC. He is great player in my opinion. Can somebody tell me more about him?
