Yeah, i am also of the opinion that resting players is our priority. With the pressure off, our players should be able to settle into their normal rhythm of play. Without the need to worry about any other remaining games, Inter should just play well enough to carve out the wins we need. After all, this is always how we end our seasons.

With Sampdoria n Udinese close behind us, it would be safe to win this match rather than taking it lightly. If Inter can lose the title in the last match then it wouldn't be a surprise that it gets kicked out of the Champions League on the last match. So we need to win at least 2 more matches to be sure, who knows if we can lose to messina, we can lose to others as well as we know this season we are having lots of surprises.
We also need this victory as a morale for the Semi with Cagliari for which we do also have to rest some players too..
I just dont want to be dissapointed at the end of the season ......

Why do you want to rest players? For the Coppa Italia? Isn't that a bit excessive?

Even if we play our best 11 it's gonna be very hard to take the 3 points in Brescia. If we rest people, it'll be impossible.

Tape delay 2:30pm/et
Brescia vs. Inter
Stadio Rigamonti, Brescia
English language commentary

Another tape delay game, but I agree that Milan -- Juve are more important.

frisko you are the perfect fan mate, your all for the team winning and you never look at this team as individuals, whereas 3 quarts here are like catanha and want to go by 'individuals' so that they can 'prove' themselves. i dont give a shit about proving, i care about winning.

I too don't get it .... Why should we rest Cambiasso. Cambiasso was indeed already rested when we lost to Messina and I think it's enough for him. AND !! Why again change the central midfield duo:
Cambiasso ---- Veron ??

They played a great game and I don't think they need to be rested. we must play with our best team, who's fit. ;)

The reason why I think we should rest our players is simply that a defeat against Brescia will definitely be not as costly as a defeat against Cagliari. We are leading Sampdoria & Udinese by 6 points but we are tied with Cagliari when it comes to Coppa Italia. Seeing that we have an advantage over them in achieving our target of finishing 3rd but we are on par with Cagliari when it comes to reaching the final, why don't we rest our players against Brescia?

Besides, it will also give the fringe players like Karagounis & Davids a chance to prove their worth. Also, our bench players are arguably still very good, if not the best in Serie A due to its quantity!

Pani, Brescia away it's not an easy game, believe me.

Han, remember that we're going to play Samp in Genova soon, we don't wanna relax now.

After all, if we need to rest players to beat freakin Cagliari, then we're not gonna win the Coppa Italia.

Well, if we can't rest players to beat freaking Brescia, who is in an even lower league position than Cagliari, then we're not gonna clinch the 3rd spot!

We have such a huge squad with so many quality players. If we rest players like Cambiasso or whoever, we have Cristiano Zanetti who can play as the sole defensive midfielder.

I think Stankovic should play this match to regain his match-fitness and hopefully even form.
In defence, we can rest Mihajlovic and replace him with either Gamarra or Materazzi. Of course in Mancini's world that would be Materazzi, because God forbid that Gamarra will get to start one match this season.

Hopefully Ze Maria can be back so we can continue playing with flanked wingers. Otherwise, we can go with Karagounis once again. One thing's for sure, and that is that Veron should not play as the right winger. I'd rather try out Stankovic there with Kily on the left and Veron in the middle with Cristiano/Cambiasso.

Vieri should definititely start the match with Martins. I think I´m getting nostalgic lately when it comes to Vieri. Believe it or not, but I actually really want him to score. Could be a sign I´m sensing that Vieri is doing his last season, I don't know.

Let's rest our entire starting eleven to avoid getting destroyed by an ocean of injuries against the violent Brescia!

Winning Coppa Italia is our primary goal for this season considering the fact that we have a 6-point lead over Sampdoria and Udinese in Serie A on a comfortable 3rd place ensuring ourselves a qualification spot by either finishing 3rd or 4th. Therefore resting as many key players as possible in order to improve our preparation for the trip to Cagliari on Thursday 12 May for the semi-final first leg of CI will be the way to go for us.

We don't have to rest ALL our players but we should definately mix in some fringe players and give them a shot since like all of you have already said, the Coppa Italia is our main goal.

---------------Vieri----------Martins

--Kily------Stankovic----C. Zanetti--Karagounis

--Coco-----Materazzi----Cordoba---J. Zanetti

-----------------------Toldo

So it's not only me! I don't know whether it's that beautiful header that he scored or the nice hug he had with Adriano.

I think both ;) I had always a weak heart for Vieri. Sometimes I hate him, then i see him playing and I love him. Against Brescia it gonna be tough but with Javier Zanetti we gonna win 1-2. Zanetti scores the winning goal.

All games will be played on the same time that day, so I'm not sure how many here would watch it live?

I will be watching the Juve -- Milan game, and I hope the commentators won't say a thing about the other game, they usually don't.

It will be fun to follow a game where you hate both teams and wish that they both lose!

We should start Bobo and Oba and bring Adriano on at halftime. 2-0 win for Inter is my prediction.
