Why in the world would we start Forlan over Milito?
i just want to see forlan play striker.
you think milito can play anywhere else? and its not like pazzini is any good atm..

The correct answer to that quandry is: "Fuck Forlan"

Milito is the one striker in any sort of decent form, he's the first name in the lineup. The rest of the strikers can fight for leftovers.

i guess but i still believe forlan deserves a chance to play striker and its not like milito can play every game.

Well now that we're out of CL/CI, it's not a stretch for him to play every match. I'm sure there will be times where we play with 2 up front, and Milito will probably pick up a knock at some point, but benching him now doesn't make much sense. Sucks for Forlan, but like Zarate, the only way he's going to get much playing time right now is out wide. At least they get to play in a more advanced role, as opposed to part of a flat 4-man midfield under Ranieri, so that's improvement.

forlan did well on the left but he is an actual striker. in the genoa game he really looked like he was missing something, either determination or fitness(most likely both). and the flat for was odd, especially without motta.
milito is doing really well this half of the season, so yes i believe he wont be seeing much of the bench. but i dont want to see the striker position wasted on pazzini and i think forlan is worth a chance.

but i do agree with you that no one can take militos starting position.

forlan is a cf. he does not have the speed to be a winger or lone striker

^disagree with the guy above. first of all no chivu, nagatomo is much better. no stankovic, cause hes.....stanko. cambiasso in the middle, he showed he still got it vs genoa, with obi as a left central midfielder who can also drift wide. milito, zarate, and alvarez as front 3 if ricky is fit enough. or if not play milito on the left. milito scores a lot of goals by cutting inside from the left, and has good chemistry with pazzini, i wouldnt mind seeing him on the left. him zarate and pazzo as a front 3 is not bad

It seems the stadium is going to fill up pretty good, since yesterday they sold already more than 8000 tickets, and there were lines at all selling places. :notbad:
