Mad eh.

What is this shit, a video game? Who cares if Deki has playmaker attributes and Cambiasso has defensive attributes? Fine, they have different skills and characteristics. But the point remains that Cambiasso is better at his job, than Deki is at his.

Also, I mentioned during the last match that Deki has just been a fucken asshole recently. He constantly dives and feigns injury, and doesn't even have decency to go through with it. For example, he'll lose the ball and fall over holding his knee, but when the ref doesn't blow the whistle, he'll throw his hands up in complaint then jump back up and resume playing. Fucking embarrassing. He constantly and unnecessarily provokes and stirs up opponents. He acts petulantly when he gets substituted. He's just been a massive prick lately.

not that i've paid a huge amount of attention in the last 10 or so games with ranieri as charge, but what i've seen from deki is basically

- slow
- whining, sneijder-esque attitude
- awful ball control
- makes some good passes and some awful passes
- leaves huge ass space in midfield when he runs out of energy (not his fault though)

Poli > Deki
Obi > Deki
Cuchu > Deki

just because you take out the more defensive cuchu and put deki in it doesn't mean that it will make us better at attack, it can make it worse due to lot's of reasons

Forlan made some bad touches, but his movement as a wide forward was good.

without an AM in the squad, Deki is a necessity if we want to score goals.. I'm glad Strama isn't oblivious enough to see that.

I'd still like to see him paired with Poli and Guarin though.

What goals has Stankovic created? Even in the game against Genoa the only chance he "created" was a long lobbed ball that deflected off a Genoa player that fell down Militos feet. Since Stankovic has been started repeatedly there have been no goal scoring assists coming from his feet.

It's not a matter of creating goals of goal scoring opportunties for our forwards for a player in his position - and Stramaccioni does not ask this of him. Deki's main goal is to construct the game, to change playing sides of the pitch with his long passes, to slow down/faste up the play, to take the ball from the defenders and to deliver it to whom can make the assist, his goal is to start the actions - not to finish them or to delvier assists. He's playing as the "regista", a defensive playmaker. That's why he is a sure starter, why Strama will use him there always (until Alvarez/Sneijder return and changes to our deployment will be made) - he's practically the only midfielder we have available who passes with long passes all over the pitch.

Finally a game I can watch, the last one was the return lag of Marseille :depress: Forza Inter, hopefully Ranocchia won't fuck up and get Lucio's starting spot and Poli gets the one from Deki.
