We have to win this one. Its very kind schedule so few starting wins could mean a lot on cofidence plan. After all they lost 5-2 against Sampa so its not gonna be easy for them to move forward...

It's important that we not only get a result here but have a decent performance. The absolute worst thing that could happen after the morale boosting victory against Atalanta would be dropped points here, especially given the shellacking Sampdoria just put on them. We will need to be professional.

This could be more difficult than it seems. The top Serie B teams that don't lose any of their players are almost always midtable quality in Serie A (Empoli, Palermo, Sassuolo, Verona, Torino, Pescara - if they had kept Immobile, Insigne, and Verratti). Carpi went down 5-1 in the first half to Samp, but the second half was 2-0 to them. That's all generic analysis though and on paper no doubt it should be a win no matter what happens.

The will be a hard match indeed. It's Carpi's first ever home Serie A match and they will come determind to prove that the first round loss was not their real abillity.

While we seem to have a hard time scoring, I predict a low scoring match. We will have to take our chances, beacuse there won't be a lot of them.

How typical it would be of us to fuck up a game like this. Should be any easyish 3 points. But this season I really don't care if every 3 points we have is with a 1-0 win. The Ws are the priority this season no matter how they are gotten.

Capri had a crapi first 45 minutes in Serie A, away from home. I haven't seen the game, but that can happen. Now back at home, they will be determined to make amends, I think we will see a very spirited defence and counter attack performance from them.

Its not an easy 3 points. No points are easy. Lets hope we win. But more than anything else, I want to see another organised and calm performance from Inter's defence. That is the most important thing.

Mancini could go for this midfield even though I prefer someone else (Taider if no one's coming..) on the right instead of our trigger happy Colombian. I suppose the Brozovic experiment under the strikers will stick like Juan's left-back run so no changes there unless the mercato offers better options offensively. The same goes to the striker partnership seeing that Icardi is now injured and throwing new buys together for the first time and before the derby could be a huge gamble.

Mods please fix Jovetic's number and remove Kovacic.
