Inter Milan majority shareholder Massimo Moratti has made an informal offer for AS Roma striker Antonio Cassano.
Moratti spoke with Roma president Franco Sensi about Cassano immediately after Italy was eliminated from Euro2004 in which the young striker was one of only a few bright lights for the Azzurri.
The Inter chief spoke with his good friend about Cassano's availability and told him he would be willing to pay £20 million for the 22 year-old.
Sensi did not turn down the offer and is still considering it. Cassano's contract runs to 2006 and his agent is scheduled to hold talks with Roma officials in November about a new deal.
Is it true?? one more great player to our team
