Change of Super Cup venue?

The Italian Super Cup match between Milan and Inter may be switched from Beijing to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Italy.

The season opener, between the League champions and the Coppa Italia winners, was originally scheduled for China on August 6.

However, there is a possibility that the match may now take place in the city of Milan on August 21 instead.

The two clubs are worried about the logistics of playing the tie on the other side of the world with the Copa America also taking place this summer.

The issue is set to be discussed at a Lega Calcio meeting on Monday before a final and official decision is made.

 Its important to ask the people who matter, the players. If they want to play in Beijing, then we should do it. Its a 6-7 hr flight.

NO, it is important to ask both team's season ticket holders, who deserve the priority to enjoy the game in meazza

without the loyal season ticket holders, milan derby is simply pile of shite

I dont mind the Meazza at all, but if we want to survive the FFP, we need to do stuff like this...

I really cannot understand, why don't Man city, Juve, Malaga, Chelsea etc care about the f*cking FFP?

Why is Moratti the man to continuesly highlight this?

playing friendly match in china is ok, but sacrifice the super cup is unacceptable, in the ultras point of view

a) Because they have a higher revenue from TV, sponsorship, Asian markets.

b) They own their stadiums

c) They dont have players like Suazo with big contracts and 0 contribution.

If you want our club to grow and be one of the biggest ones, the likes of you and me have to get used to it. This is the reality of our clubs future unfortunately.

I can show more examples to slap FFP: Zenit St Pterburg, Anzhi Makhachkala, Besiktas, Shakhtar Donetsk, even Real Mardrid (consider its debt), why are all of them still waving their heavy cheque books?

1) there are many Suazos in Man city
2) Malaga does not have big TV revenue
3) comparing with the transfer fee & salary Man city / real mardrid spent, their TV income is NOTHING
4) How about JUVE, who has big budget for this summer

If you watch the match of Russian premier league, there are always only several thousands fans appearing in stadium. Plus few team owes stadium, and TV revenue is extremely low (you can watch the live match in public free channel). Then you will surprise why Zenit, Anzhi, Dynamo Moscow, Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow etc can so easy to afford 10M+ fees for a player

and which clubs are the next ones ? They will be Getafe, Paris Saint German, Terek Grozny

C'mon FFP, feel smashing in Ass ?

obviously you know nothing of world economics and the ppl behind these clubs.

anyway, it would be of great interest 2 both teams to have the supercup in beijing. the amount of revenue, and more importantly, potential revenue at cost here could make the trip worthwhile!

All the big epl teams have at least a few travel to asia at the end of the year. i guess the only real concern would be the south american tournament and the number of players involved.

.......... Do you really think I am 'asking' the reason ???? :palm:

what I want to mention is : FFP = a joke

I agree to arrange some friendly match in Asia. But C'mon, EPL does not put the final of either Carling cup, FA cup or FA Community Shield cup to china, right ??

Because they know the season ticket holder want to watch the final in the stadium, not in front of a TV screen with fucking 7 hours jet-lag

C'mon, how can you get my point? Yes FFP is approved, it goes, yes !

and so what? It will be a joke, a pile of shite. Trust me, Man city and other club 's patrons already got the strategy to pass it, they will still wave their blank cheque book, FFP will make no limitation to them AT ALL

well time will tell....

if they do then good for them. but we cannot do the same, we just dont have the spending power to compete. it would be stupid to think otherwise!

there are many permutations and u seem like a smart guy....but at the risk of derailing this thread, if you want to talk more about ffp, then do so in our ffp thread. ;)
