Was glad he was also able to get his first yellow of the season like it or not, cynical plays like that help win games.

He is never going to be the fighter type. We have others in the team that can do the hard work. He adds the class that this team needs at times.

Sure against Crotone or whatever bottom placed side with their 11 men behind the ball, but in a knockout CL game (which is the standard we should hold ourselves to) ALL 11 players need to fight. Case in point Mahrez in the City/PSG game, goal on one end, goal saving tackle on the other.

Sensi was brilliant in the first half and had 3 good opportunities but wasn’t able to finish. Eriksen in same situations would have likely finished all three. But sensi’s movement is probably better than all Inter’s current midfielders, although I think Eriksen is capable of same if he wasn’t confused by Conte.

I think Eriksen has more pressure on him than both barella and brozovic to perform, because regardless of his performance on the pitch he is first midfielder to come off. Barella, for the past three matches should have been the first midfielder to be subbed off but again Conte always takes off Eriksen/sensi irrespective of performance on the pitch.

Conte would do better to instill some equilibrium in his substitutions instead of effecting this untouchables policy.
