Uruguay completely deserve it. Excellent coach, great system, great forwards, awesome GK, and a team full of hard workers.

Congrats to Uruguay, well deserved and earned win. It was good to see Forlan playing like a warrior too. Excellent finish by him at the end.

Sorry, cant do. It was word of mouth by the espn game commentator. I dont know if espn publishes their transcripts, in which case u can find it on their site. Else u'll have to do some net digging 4 it.

Without trying much (under 1 min searching), I came up with this article from NYTimes (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/24/s...a-a-surprising-and-intriguing-final.html?_r=1) Doesnt go to details, but has this line that might interest them:
Paraguay goes into Sunday’s South American championship final against Uruguay as the first team to reach the title game without a single victory in five matches.

I don't like Uruguay all that much. I find them to be incredibly sore losers and hot-headed when they lose, fans and players. I recall something about how the Aussies were treated in Montevideo during the 2006 WC Qualifying that was rather classless. That being said, you have to give credit to a country that has a tad over 3 million people total and has now made the WC Semis and won the Copa America in the last two years. Now that's a fucking football program!

There are fans like that all over the world, I think it's wrong to point out 1 country for something like that.

Once Muslera gets to a big club he will be one of the best keepers in the world. He's a beast.

I've always liked him.. He was Lazios first GK, you know what happened? He went to Turkey :D

He is great, but has too many brainfarts for my taste... Yeah, every GK does, and Muslera is young, but it really is too much... He did improve in the past year or so though...

yeah I first noticed him in the WC last year and took a liking to him, ended up watching several Lazio matches last season just so I could follow him. But, watching Turkish league because of one player, I don't know about that. I've never seen Gala play before but from what I'm reading here after Inter's friendly with them, they sound like dirty fucks, feel bad for Muslera now but I guess if Lazio wanted to cash in, what big clubs are currently looking for keepers (to start for them) anyway? Arsenal maybe...

How long have you been a Barca fan? I know that Gala has played Barca almost 10 times in the last 15 years...

I'm with Urugauy!! Cavani-Forlan-Suarez would be a hell.. There many candidats other than Brazil and Argentina, as I said: Uruguay, Colombia (they have Falcao, Guarin, Zapata and Jones Rodriguez too?), Chile, Paraguay.. they all are candidats.

I'm ready for a stay-up.. since all the matches will be after 1 in the midnight here in Saudi Arabia.

Huzgus..
