LOL, one of the best defenders of the decade indeed, but he had a horrible game yesterday. Also, I am not making excuses, but I haven't been impressed with his pairing with Milito, I think Rodrigo Gonzalez was his best partner, even Samuel would have worked.

I think the relaxed Brazilian approach worked this time (but it didn't in the WC.)

Embarrassing for Argentina. The entire team choked when it mattered most (words we should be familiar with) but especially Roman. Then again, Brazil did an excellent job in marking him.

One of the few postives was JZ completely shutting down Robinho, arguably the best player in the entire tournament.

what was apparent when i was watching that game was that how little riquelme did when there was consistent pressure on him

i dont see any of those riquelme posting in this forum of late
