That Holm guy we were linked to actually did ok versus Leao, better than most fullbacks/wingbacks that come up against him - I believe he assisted the goal too.

Koopmeiners is a very good player btw - shame there would be no way for us to get him, although midfield isn't our priority anyway.

Does Gasperini not like Scamacca that much? He hasn't started a single match in the last 5 matches and that's with Lookman gone. I know he had an injury but typically starters come back to the starting lineup earlier than that.

He's a bit of a strange player - has lots of talent but I get the feeling at times he's not fully 'in the game' if that makes sense - I think Spalletti also had some criticism for him in the Italy Ukraine game.

and where the fuck is the not given penalty to atalanta? rejinders pushed de roon that was running to the ball infront of the half empty goal. He got knocked out by landing on Gabbias face and missed the opportunity to get the ball which would have end to a goal probably. Clearly a penalty.

Rube got the easiest quarter final passage yesterday. Most of the Frosi starters that played vs us in Serie A, were rested and even then at HT, Frosinone had a pretty repsectable stats with reserves.

The papers and Matteo Bonetti obv came to sucking them off without ever mentioning that DiFrancesco rotated heavily. It was Milik = Lautaro on italian toilet papers.

They will play in the final, but maybe Atalanta and Gasperini can make that surprise and ruin their Cup night.
