I really hope Cristiano stays around. It's a real shame that we can't put Cuchu and Il Martello to the same line-up, or atleast Mancini seems unwilling to that. :( He's a worldclass player, one of the best in his position. All I hope he stays. :( :star:

Amen to that. Besides I bet that we will use those two at the same time against difficult opponents.

I must admit that CZ really impressed me in many matches last season. Now I can take back many of my hatred words I've said earlier last year.

IMHO Cristiano was one of Inters best players last year, the games he played. I love him esepecially when he plays against Milan. The way he erases Kaka totally from the games.. Mmmm :D

But still there's hard to make room for both Chuchu and CriZan..
Atleast in my Inter it should only be one defensive midfielder. That's enough.

J. Zanetti, Fig
We've been blessed with three incredibly good DM's, one of which is completely out of the frame now - Davids. Zanetti is unfortunate for Cambiasso to be so good. It's too bad we couldn't translate our DM situation to having 2 world-class DM's and give ourselves ONE good left-back! (if that makes sense - i hope it does)

anyway, if Juve offered us Chiellini/Zambrotta(i wish) in exchange for Zanetti then I'd accept in a heart-beat.

Yes, that's true. We really need a good Left-back. But Davids will leave, I am pretty sure about that. Well.. He could stay and get shitloads of money, but that's not what a fotballplayer wants... But if we trade Zambrotta/Chiellini for Zanetti and Davids leaves we only have ChuChu left. That could be a problem. What if he breaks a leg our something. Shit happens, this is Inter. Is Dino Marino supposed to play a season as defensive midfielder?

I want the young players to play, of course. But it would be very very much resposibility on his shoulders alone. Of course there's other solutions. But if Both Davids and CriZan and then Emre leaves we won't have that many defensive midfielders left.

Chiellini/Zambrotta for CZ would be a freaking dream come true. And even if that leaves us with only Cambiasso as our sole DM, it's freaking worth it I say. Chiellini on left back with Zambrotta in front of him. That would be freaking crazy. And if Cambiasso breaks a leg or something, maybe we can push Zambrotta to the centre. I don't know. Just a suggestion.

I trade CZ for Chiellini every day.
Problems is made to be solved ;)

Oy, you people and your 2 DM's..... :depress: :blind:

I'd do Chiellini for CZ in a hearbeat. It might finally solve our LB crisis for we've had as long as I can remember. The only problem is that we'd have to find a new ball-winner in case Cambiasso gets hurt or something and there are few better the Martello.

Even though the Hammer is one of my fav's, I would do such a trade right as well too.
Having Chielini who is just 19/20, would mean that our LB problems would be solved for at least 7 years!

He's definitely one of the best defensive midfielders around. He's also had awesome games this season, including the 2nd leg of the Coppa Italia Final, where he was the best player according to the votes on the Inter website.

I wouldn't trade him for anything.

As good as he is, we all know that he will not be part of the starting 11, Mancini made it clear. He likes playing with a holding rather than a defensive midfielder.

And that is why I think it would be better for Inter and C. Zanetti to part.
Like I said if Juve were to give us Chielini+cash offer for C. Zanetti, than definatley accept it.

Nono. Mancini said that IDEALLY he'll play with a defensive midfielder and a playmaker, but he didn't say he'll ALWAYS do that.

We'll need Cristiano+Cuchu in big games, to get hold of midfield as we did this year.

It would be either Veron on the right, or no Veron at all. It'd depend on the opponents.

But how often do you think that Cuchu and Hammer will play together?
4 times, 5 times?

I'd say more than that, if you consider we have several big games, between Serie A and CL. Also CZ is the real backup for Cambiasso, without Cuchu we don't have any other player with his defensive abilities apart from Martello.

We still have Davids. It might not mean alot to you, but I take a in-form Davids anyday over C.Z.

You only say that because Davids is more of a Fantasy Football player, but if you judge performance and consistency, Cristiano wins easily. And Davids is NOT staying.
