I dislike Dumbo as much as anyone else. But credit where credit is due. He played his best game in an Inter shirt. If he always played like this, I would have no problem him starting for us.

He has been improving under Pioli, lets see if he can perform with consistency... I have my doubts.

Inter should renew his contract... he is on low wages (around the same as Andreolli and lower than Biabiany, Santon, Ansaldi, Nagatomo), has good attitude, versatile and can be a useful back up when we get a top RB. I would lose the other 3 fullbacks we have, and keep D'Ambrosio.

But knowing Inter, we will probably double his wages to create another white elephant...

I love WhoScored stats, but their ratings are garbage.

However D'Ambrosio has been pretty good defensively this season, just a couple of distraction mistakes here and there. He's also been kinda useful going forward, not great but at least adds something to our game, a couple of good throughballs to Icardi, a couple of good crosses, etc.

he should be extended for sure. he is a good/very good rotational player and he doesn't cry if he doesn't play often. he already told that himself.

TBH he has been pretty good defensively for the most part, while making some good runs on offense.

1 goal 2 assists this season. He had his faults and probably our most efficient fullback offensively. Ansaldi has been so disappointing in that regard.

dude has made significant progress. he's not a top player of course, but at least he's reliable and gives his contribution to the offense. i wish we had a d'ambrosio for the left side as well. i take back my chocolate joke of a couple of days ago.
