I'm not sure what you've been reading. Most of what you are saying simply isn't true. Randomly retarded things are said by various biased individuals at times, but that's generally the exception.

I've said in the Icardi thread that expecting him to be become well-rounded simply because he is young is a little moronic as there is no real precedent of poachers magically changing their spots.

they dont seem to happy to see him go. this vendetta against santon on this forum is starting to become ridiculous tbh. give the kid a chance and then judge him. i for one am not afraid to admit that i havent seen him play in ages but back when he was with us he showed alot of potential.

he is still only 24 years old after all. he should be well rounded and simply better compared to the fodder that we currently have.

If you read the posts you'd know they are only against it because they have no other defensive options whatsoever, and others seem to just be complaining about management for the sake of it (sounds familiar )
