Santon can't defend. Its as simple as that. He's ATROCIOUS defensively, and has only regressed since he left Inter.

Newcastle has the 4th worst defense in the Premiership, and he doesnt even come CLOSE to playing for them.

You are exagerating. A lot has changed in that year. He had to proof himself again at Newcastle and Ashley didn't want him anymore because of his injury. I'm sure he will be a valuable player for Inter. It's still a loan. If he doesn't show his worth, he"ll go back to NUFC.

I've always been a big fan of him. If only he would be able to reach his potential....
