Dumfries will be ok. A bit raw but he has the tools. Already 10 times better than Dalbert or Ansaldi. Just need to adapt to new league and new system, he will become a good wb for us.
Sorry but how on earth did he make it to the Top 10 list!?
He’s number 8 of the world after all
Distinct lack of candidates?Sorry but how on earth did he make it to the Top 10 list!?
It’s ESPN, what do you expect?Sorry but how on earth did he make it to the Top 10 list!?
Insane we had 2 of the top three here in the last 5 years. Imagine we had the cash of just an average EPL club.Cancelo and Hakimi. What a wasted oportunity by this club.
Absolutely. This is an excerpt from the article:Whoever made the list has watched Dumfries play four matches in their life; aka the 2020 Euros.
The Netherlands wing-back drew plaudits with some impressive performances during Euro 2020 this summer, scoring two goals in the process. Still yet to claim the status of a regular after his €12.5m move from PSV to Inter in the summer, he is an eager, enthusiastic wide man who supports the attack with relentless forward running. Dumfries delivers a high number of crosses, but can struggle with accuracy.
It was indeed his 4th start in Serie A. Bologna, Sassuolo, Udinese and Spezia. He has also started in CL twice. Away match against Shakhtar and at home against Sheriff. He hasn't been good but it isn't like he has got lots of chances. He arrived from another league and this is the first time out of his home country. People need to be a bit patient. If there's no improvent till the end of the season then sure. We can give up on him and move on. But asking for his sale now is a bit premature.Commentator mentioned that it was his fourth ever start? That seems hard to believe.
Hakimi and cancelo both took a lot of time. Granted they still looked like they had a lot more ability than denzel, but he still deserves to the end of the season at least as you sayIt was indeed his 4th start in Serie A.
