Dec 2010:

Dominguez’s physician, Dr Eufamio Fuentes, dubbed Doctor Doping, was among those arrested in raids, which turned up hormones, steroids and bags of blood at 15 addresses around Spain.

Newspaper El Mundo quotes him as telling other detainees in a Madrid cell: “If I talk, Spain would be stripped of the 2008 Euro championship and 2010 World Cup.”

[Tin foil hat ON] Now the doctor is arrested and the case is going strong and Barca looks not so fit and getting tired easily and Messi missed almost a month through injury. And Barca didnt look so dominating with their pressing and physical fitness [/Tin Foil Hat off]

So all the evidence is getting destroyed. Fukin Spanish cunts. Spain's anti-doping agency (AEA) are contesting the decision to destroy the evidence.

I got a feeling they are gonna get away with this.

So if Barcelona dope, and Bayern completely outmatched them in fitness, where does that leave them?

Did anyone also notice the German teams had a lot less energy in the second leg? Was it the great stadiums or the great salbutamol?

Is that a your fuking theory?

Believe whatever make you sleep better.

-----

Not sure if anyone has reported this.

Deco fails drugs test. He has been tested postive for diuretic.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/may/01/deco-fails-drug-test-brazil

From Wikipedia.

Diuretics are typically called masking agents in sports. The term is a misnomer, as diuretics do not actually mask anything. However, they conceal the presence of performance-enhancing drugs by helping to flush them from the body through increased urination. Using this effect, an athlete could use Xipamide to help remove traces of banned substances prior to a doping control.

Barcelona is probably off that stuff now. So funny how the last two years Barcelona has been "off form" this part of the season when the previous season when the Doctor was still running around they looked like they were just starting the league.

I'm not gonna tell you no way Bayern are doping, chances are they are, I believe doping is something prevalent in every sport and it would be naive to believe the biggest fishes on the pond are not doing it.

After Deco failed a routine drugs test, another footballer in the brazilian league has failed a drugs test.

Carlos Alberto (Vasco da Gama), who like Deco, is an ex-Porto players, who won the CL in 2004 under Mourinho.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/584/bra...e-for-doping?source=breakingnews&ICID=HP_BN_3

The Brazilian could face a lengthy ban after illegal substances were found in his system following a routine drugs test

Vasco da Gama could be without Carlos Alberto for several months following the news the forward failed a doping test after the 3-2 Guanbara Cup semi-final win over Fluminense back in March.

The former Porto player - who lifted the Champions League with the Portuguese side in 2004, now faces an uncertain future, though that has not stopped coach Paulo Autuori from offering him his complete backing.

"I talk to him everyday. He has our full support and this time it'll be no different. Any athlete will receive support in any ways [at Vasco]," he told UOL.

The player's legal representative was cagey over whether or not Alberto would contest any doping charge, but did reveal the deadline to do so was this Friday.

He said: "We have to present his defence today, which is the limit date for that. If we don't, the player will be automatically charged [for doping]. If we do present it, we have a 50% chance. We can't talk much, it's a complicated process."

The new Brasileirao season gets underway on May 26.

-----

In a few days, two players in the brazilian league has been tested positive for doping. I got a feeling there a going to be a few more revelations in the next few weeks.

Lance Armstrong has accused "great football clubs" of influencing a Spanish court's decision to destroy evidence gathered as part of the infamous Operacion Puerto case.

The investigation by Spanish police into doping in cycling resulted in approximately 200 blood bags being seized from the residence of sports doctor Eufemiano Fuentes, who subsequently revealed that he had also been working with athletes from other sports, including football.

However, during the subsequent trial into alleged doping, the presiding judge, Julia Patricia Santamaria, told Fuentes that he was under obligation to disclose the identity of those not already implicated in the case and also ordered that the blood bags be destroyed.

"I'm sure some great football clubs have had an influence on this decision," Armstrong, who was last year banned from cycling for life as part of a separate enquiry into doping, stated in an interview with Le Monde.

Juventus is a pharmacy, not a football club.

Funny how Pirlo and Marchisio can't even last a full 90 minutes with the Italian NT, but with Juventus they look energized until the last second.

:chan: are you serious or trolling ?

Pirlo almost always plays 90 min (barring games missed due to injury) for the NT.

Prior to the Confed Cup, Marchisio also plays out the 90 min for the NT.

I haven't seen any difference in their performance between the NT and club football.

Messi was off at half time because of hamstring injury. Is it coincidence that he started to get injured once this doping case became public?

This is absolutely shocking. How can players go an entire season without being tested? and they don't even test for everything when they get tested anyway
First team members like Gorka Iraizoz, Fernando Amorebieta, Iker Muniain and Ander Herrera were not even tested once

Simply no one can stand up and say football is remotely clean when a player is lucky to be tested once a year.

Football is not clean at all. The article I posted in the first post is excellent and covers lot of high profile cases.

And than we were surprised how many players failed here and than turned to be briliant, wolrd-class players later: Roberto Carlos, Fabio Canavaro, Bergkamp, Pirlo, Seedorf etc.etc.

And from another angle how briliant, unstopable youngsters turned in total flops: Dalmat, Farinos, Coco, R.Keane, Van Der Meyde etc.etc.

Something must be fishy there.

Edit:

I am not saying that we were clear in all this but they probably used better shit.

Either the article was deleted or it won't load on my phone. What did it say, just that they are rarely tested, or is it more than that?

Edit: It worked now.
