Zapata is a fantastic player. He's strong, can run at defenders, very involved in build up play, can score, can assist well. He isn't a world beater, but is the one of the more complete forwards out there. Age and money is an issue, but there aren't many good options out there. If he can give 3 15-20 goal seasons, then it would be well spent.
Of course we need another striker (4th). And it would be unfair to expect Zapata to do what Lukaku did. What made Lukaku shine last couple of seasons - and also held us back - are Conte's one dimensional tactics where Lukaku was the focal point of everything. I expect Inzaghi to make us work better with more threats than just hoof the ball to Lukaku.
Another crucial point for this season is the presence of Calhanoglu. He is more of a goal scoring threat from midfield than we have had in the last 5 seasons.
