INTER EXPLODED

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Extraordinary comeback for Inter (1-2): climb over Barcelona
In three minutes in the final minutes to cancel the goal by Sheva and went ahead

incredibleintera.jpg
incredibleinterb.jpg

INCREDIBLE INTER

Milito and Sneijder with a crazy turnaround. Mou goes ahead.
Dynamo went ahead with Sheva, the Nerazzurri were wasteful in the resumption and were winner from 86th to 89th

Kiev - From last to first in just three minutes. The majority of this match was like an agonizing one way journey to hell. But, as reminded by Mou, in football the distance from hell to paradise is often minimal. And Inter have traveled that distance with heart and with the two most precious new acquisitions in Mitlito and Sneijder. From the first minute to the 85th, Inter were feeling the posibility of going out of the competition. Then, the guy, thanks to the doctors, has recovered in just two weeks, was steering the wheel to find the Argentine gunfighter.

The blow
It was a bad start for Inter in the first half, Shevkenko was the first one to be on the score sheet thanks to a deflection off Cambiasso. It was a fortunate episode for the Ukrainians. Neither before or after the goal Dynamo were never seen the real Inter in the first half. The team that the Portuguese had sent on the field was hesitant and inexpressive with frozen muscles and ideas. Inter only had a week shot by Milito in this half.

The key Jose has to make changes to shake things up, and here come the moves that change the story of the match and who knows, maybe the season...Out Cambiasso and Chivu. In Motta and Balotelli. These changes allowed Inter to move to an open-minded 4-2-3-1 with the final substitution with Muntari. It was up to these "bomber" to help on the offensive end meanwhile, the team relied on Lucio to prevent any counterattack opportunities. And with the usual tactical sagacity of Zanetti and the superiority passing of Sneijder and Motta, Maicon and Stankovic and here we have an aggressive Inter at the Lobanowsky stadium.

The errors The play by the goal, but they couldn't dispel the curse of the former Rossoneri devil evoked by Sheva, valuable opportunity one after another by both Eto'o and Balotelli. It was once, twice, three times, no way, it was bewitched. But they continue the match with heart, of course, and there was too much class in the pass from Sneijder to the unmarked Milito, 1-1. Sneijder finally scored the winning goal after many mistakes and touches. He was one of the strongest to rise from the curse in the Champions League that lasted more than a year and eight games.

One of the most memorable things about the match was Sneijder being hauled down to the ground flailing his arms about after scoring the 2nd goal.

I cracked up to this Youtube comment on one of the videos of the match:

"Al gol di snejider sn uscito fuori e ho lanciato l'intera bottiglia di coca-cola nella casa del mio vicino juventino, capitemi, Stavo esplodendo!!!! Forza interrrrrrrr!!!!"

"When Sneijder scored I went out and I threw a whole bottle of coke into my juventino neighbour's house. You have to understand, I was blowing up!! Forza Inter".

I just don't get why is there so much hype around the mistakes their goalie did today.
True, we were lucky when we scored the 2 goals, but how about the luck Kiev had before that?

Sheva scoring for them from a deflected shot, then the incredible misses from Eto'o (alone in front of goal, twice), Balotelli(again alone with the gk) and the crossbar by Wesley.Or Samuel's header in the beggining of the second half.

Wasn't that luck for them? When I saw those chances I wanted to break something, thankfully I didn't :D

The way I see it, it compensates ! There is no arguing that Kiev didn't play shit in the second half and we were all over them. I think that is just much more than luck....

On the other side, today we clearly saw that Il Capitano position is in defence, at least for most of the situations.
Also Motta deserves a chance in midfield from now on, ahead of Muntari I would say.

I am a big fan of SuperMario and I think he should play a role in every game but frankly, I was a bit disappointed by him today.
He has moments when he shows immaturity and indiference in his game, but his technical skills compensate for this most of the times. ( backheel for Muntari at our second goal)

Eto and he's weak finishing almost cost us today the qualification but he proves everytime what a complete player he is, so he should get back to scoring goals really soon.

However, what I liked mostly today was the fact that the team played all of their chances till the end, and was rewarded by this, even though many (including me here) gave up hope.
For me this a a very important aspect that Jose brought to this team over Mancini.

Great match. Wanted to tear my hair out the first 45 but the second was much better. Somewhere in around the 70th minute I bet a friend of mine we would come back and win 2-1. It was that obvious.

Although it has to be said we were very lucky in the way we scored, and I'm not to sure we would of managed to create as much if Dynamo hadn't sat back and defended, because they were the better team in the first half. Great chance of qualifying now. :)

I would really like to see the video from Inter Channel with Scarpini commenting over it. He must have been going insane! Anyone have it?

I am happy for the win, and for breaking our CL curse, but apart frmo that there is nothing else to be happy about. Our four mids where dominated ny five of Dinamo's for 70 minutes, and we started playing only after they had got tired, and after Muntari had entered to make the numbers even.
This is just not good enough, and if we don't strenghten out midfield in january it will be bye bye Inter in this season's first knock out round.
I still don't like what Jose is doing and would like to see Blanc here as soon as possible, but Mou has still time to change my mind.

Just a quick comment on the people in Etoo/Milito debate: Milito played badly, but was instrumental in both of our goals, while Eto'o just played badly. I don't like him, and what I like even less is that we don't really have a replacement for him when he's having a bad day.

There's nothing left to say but pazza Inter, very, very pazza!

Mourinho stated that Inter played with heart, and deserved to win!

We Played With Our Hearts & Deserved To Beat Dynamo Kiev – Jose Mourinho

“I think that we will be able to qualify with just a win now, so I want a packed San Siro stadium for our next game in Europe.”

I would love to be in Milan for the next game against Rubin... :(

What was the Motta Shevkenko incident all about? Shevkenko seems like a nice guy, why did Motta shove him like that?

I wasn't going to go on with this but this is simply unbelievable.

Eto'o missed two goals alone in front of the goal? WHAT GAME WERE YOU FUCKING WATCHING? The second one was a great effort from the defender and the header was not exactly a sitter either.

Balloteli's miss, THAT WAS ALONE AT GOAL. Milito's goal, HE ALMOST BLEW IT. Where's the criticism there? Oh that's right I forgot, you "don't like Eto'o".

You have the right to think and say anything you want but learn to be OBJECTIVE or go fuck yourselves.

I can't believe you dragged me out lurking mode for this shit.
