EA Sports FIFA 2007

Got this wonderful game yesterday. I was pretty suprised for two things:
- No Materazzi in Inter squad
- Juventus in Serie B, even in PC game

Materazzi is Valerio Bernardo or something like that..You have to change the name..

This Fifa is better than ones before, but I'm still waiting for PES 6 next week.

Yeah, I played FIFa, and I'm not impressed. Everytime they say "this will be special" end they just have an improved old FIFA. This is like 2006, little better graphics, and different GK movement...

It's a very good game, surely Pro Evo will humiliate them again though...

It's laughable how Grosso just doesn't look one bit like the real guy

There is many players who don't look like they really are... Not only Grosso.
And the players ratings are not on the highest level, they are not like the players really are. On PES, this is different, to almost every player is paid atention to their look, and the best skills they posses.

Yah I just picked up this game should play it later on this afternoon. I enjoy the EA series as I will never get used to the controls in the PES/ Winning 11 gameplay.

Hopefully they have Inter at a respectable rating this year unlike years past.

It's an extremely hard question to answer , because basically pes is better than fifa in every aspect. The only let downs are the lack of licensed clubs/national teams, lame commentary and laggy online play.

The lagness in PES5 was so bad that you could easily dominate your opponent when you are hosting, and when the host changes, they dominate you. I'm not sure whether they have improved their online play, but the previous version's online play was no where as smooth as Fifa's.

Licensed kits and clubs aren't much of a problem, they can be fixed by installing patches. Commentary is one of the worst problem, I got so sick with it at one point that I started to play without commentary .

kits and names on pes dont worry me too much. i know whos playing who and thats all that matter. if your that desperate u can just change them, but it takes hours. not if u have pc though. the only crap thing for me, is the lack of teams. fifa was crazy in that aspect, but licensing is a bitch

Im still undecided on which one to buy. Ive been a fifa fan for about 8 years, before that it was Nintendo's Goal (remember that game?).

Ive played 07, and its good but the gameplay is a bit slow. Havent tried pes but Ive heard good things about it.

IS pro evo like FIFA in the aspect of the season where you qualify to the CL and all? Does it have manager mode? I am actually quite dispointed with Fifa07

I'm a big EA sports fan. I've played every game since FIFA 98. PES and pro wateva, they might be good, but to me FIFA is a big addiction.

I always give priority to EA Sports, comparing to Peo Evo. Though, many of you will not agree with me.

We've beaten Bilan 0-4, Recoba scored 3 goals, two of them with headshot!

THis fifa has realy improoved but i played the new Pes this week and Pes is still better!!!

But i ll still play the fifa more just coz they have the way better online modus !!

Has anyone else noticed that this game is super glitchy on PS2? It seems like they really rushed this one into production so that it would sell before dropping the Xbox 360 version.
