I don't think dzeko will be a depth player, especially if we play with two strikers, so it will be him and icardi in attack or whoever icardi replacement is.

Icardi replacement comes when Icardi is sold, IF he is sold which I’m still not sure is a guarantee. Nothing we’ve seen so far this summer implies we will be stopping at Dzeko.

If Quagliarella can be Serie A top-scorer at 36 I can see hwo Džeko could be helpful, especially if the fee is as reported - 13M in today's market is basically 5M ten years ago.

It's pretty obvious, even if Icardi stays, that we can't rely on Lautaro to be our main goalscorer and Dzeko is a good cheap option that will provide right away. There aren't many similar deals we can make anyway. Or you'll feel better if we go down on Lukaku and splash 70M and massive wages?

We shouldn't have to sacrifice a youngster. Not for 33 year old Dzeko. It was different for Nainggolan. Considering the tumultuous going ons at Roma right now + plus no CL football revenue, you think they would just be happy to get Dzeko's wages off the books.

Inter & Edin Dzeko Agree Terms – Meeting With Roma This Week To Finalize Transfer

Inter have agreed terms with Roma’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko regarding a transfer to the Nerazzurri Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia reports.

According to the report, the former Manchester City striker has accepted Inter’s offer of a three year contract and now Roma and Inter will meet this week to finalize the deal.

The Giallorossi value Dzeko at €10-12 million, which is a sum far more acceptable to the Nerazzurri than the previous reports which stated that Roma wanted at least €20 million.

According to the report, the two clubs are expected to sit down to meet this week to iron out the final details before Dzeko can be unveiled as Inter’s first signing of the Antonio Conte.

Dzeko signed for Roma in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of €15 million and has since then featured 179 times across all competitions for the Giallorossi scoring 87 goals in the process, including becoming the Serie A top scorer during the 2016/2017 season.

There is no way that Dzeko will leave a starting spot at Roma to come to Inter to be a bench player. Everyone please stop kidding yourself.

Also, Conte nor most Italian coaches have good track record with youngsters. So, if Dzeko is coning here, he is coming here to start ahead of Lautaro.
