The Lazio game does change much, because now it makes this fixture very important. After the loss its always important to go out and get a result in the next game or else you risk a dip in form and going on a little slide. Hopefully Mancini won't fuck around here and actually plays the best we have to offer so we can get a sound victory here.

We will have to look out for Sapanora as he's the most obvious threat, but also our old primavera player Marko Livaja. A return to the 1-0 victories would be very welcome here.

Well, we have relatively been able to bounce back after a loss, 3 draws in a row after the Viola game and 2 wins in a row after the Napoli match. Empoli are not the strongest opposition to face but they do have young talented players who might be extra motivated to play a club like Inter (to get our attention(?)), I hope we're prepared for this but at the same time to not give them too much of respect (like the Lazio game) and be ultra defensive and disjointed.

What worried me a bit is that in the 4 games we have conceded first we lost 3 and drew one! So much for our resolve I guess. As long as we don't concede first we should be good as we have been scoring the majority of our goals in the 2nd half anyway when the opponent tires.

The last time I opened match thread it was against Torino away from home, that was tough game and we won. Hopefully the same will happen in this one as well. We shouldn't drop more points anytime soon!
