Underrate them? I can write pages about how dumb they are. Count the good thing they did, and the bad, and tell me which outweigh which?

I am really really frustrated with them. All the other clubs sell players for good money, get players early and spend and save appropriately.

They do their deals in Aug 31, they get fooled in pricing, and they never seem to get a player that we really need. Not to mention the fact that they sign and get rid of players without coache's advice (Davids, Canna)

Emre should never go to Arsenal. Gilberto Silva is a key player in Wenger's system since Vieira needs a ball-winner beside him to work optimally. As we can see this season, Arsenal are more exposed when Gilberto Silva doesn't start. Also, Emre has a direct competitor in the ultra-talented Cesc Fabregas. Cesc is perhaps the player that has amazed be the most this season, considering his age. I am not even sure if Emre can hold Cesc down. Cesc will be much more matured next season and the thought of that is scary.

Man Utd will be the ideal club for Emre. Scholes has had a poor season by his standard. Emre can be his direct replacement to him. Emre can also play the role of Giggs' understudy, which us currently occupied by Quinton Fortune, a player who don't deserve to even shine Emre's boots.

But we must have transfer gurus with brains, which we don't.
you under-rate them too much mate.

I know, all this yakyak about how crap Branca and Facchetti are, when they just did a freakin good job. You can't just always judge them by the Crappavaro-Carini swap, they did several good moves.

Facchetti? I never said a thing about him, he is my hero!

I am talking about Branca and Oriali and if I list their bad moves, I could be here for hours.

Branca should be one of the most respected guys at Inter.

Before him, players used to go and say all sort of shit about Inter without any consequences. Those were the times of Simeone and Ronaldo fighting in the dressing room and shit like that.

Look how Branca dealt with Vieri last year, even if he's an Inter legend and he was new to his role, but he did exactly what needed to be done. Same goes for Fontana.

What? Simeone and Ronaldo used to fight? I guess that was before I started to follow the team closely, but that was bad if it happened.

But I am talking about Branca the transfer guy. Surely you can't say that he did his job adequately along with Oriali. Last minute deals, never getting a guy that would solve a problem, not consulting with the coach etc.

Branca the person could be nice, but I am exclusively talking about the transfer person.

Branca got us Cambiasso, for example. No credit for that?

I mentioned that once as the biggest thing he's done, but someone - I forgot who - said it was Moratti or Facchetti that actually wanted Cambiasso. But regardless, he was a massive move and makes up for 3 bad transfers.

But when you put things on the balance, the tip goes to 'Bad Transfer Guru."

i don't want Emre to leave...even thought he didn't have enuff time playing...but i still dont want him to leave...one of inter reasons to be succesfull is they have a lot of plyaers which covered the injured player and the players have enuff rest and not tired cos many players rotation...emre only fit in inter..inter doesnt only have the best forwards, also the best CM!

Emre to decide future
by Alp Ayhan - created on 16 Jun 2005

Internazionale star Emre will make a decision on his future when he returns from holiday.

Everton and Newcastle United are the latest clubs to be linked with a move for the star, who won the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.

As well as The Toffees and The Magpies, Liverpool, Manchester Untied and Arsenal have also been mooted as potential suitors.

Emre's agent Ahmet Bulut has already admitted six offers have arrived from English clubs for the 24-year-old's services.

However, the Turkey international is undecided where he wants to play next season and will rest before deciding his future.

"It makes me happy that clubs like Everton and Newcastle are interested in me," said Emre.

"However, no decision has been made on my transfer yet. Things will be clearer in 10 days. At the moment I just want to rest."

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have also been linked with Emre, although the Inter ace's first choice would not be to return to his homeland.

"I'd prefer to play outside of Turkey but Inter have to agree a fee first," he added.

"It's not enough for me to agree a contract with a club. I hope the best decision for my career is made in the end."

If I was Branca, I'd do the following:

Go and meet Mr. Wenger. Tell him that are willing to give Arsenal Emre, VDM and Recoba for Ashley Cole. Arsenal needs a pacy RW like VDM now that Ljunburg is injured every other game and Pires isn't as pacy as he used to be.

I also think that Emre can be the perfect foil for Vieira. And Recoba is a good addition for them, they neeed a left-footed player that can strike them from a distance.

This might sound too much for us to offer, but we can do without all these players. Also, getting Ashley Cole as a LB is the best we can ask for.

I am assuming that we are getting Amantino and him and ZM will be our RW duo next year.

As much as I prefer Emre to stay, I'd offer him to Man Utd and some cash for Heinze. :star: He was an unknown before he joined Man Utd but last season, he was not very far from Zambrotta, something that says a lot about him. :star: I dare say that I prefer Heinze than Cole just because Ashley is an @ss.

Another factor is that I think Emre will have less competition in Man Utd. His direct competitor will be Scholes & Giggs. While I am sure that Emre won't command a first-team place, Emre just have to be patient and snatch the opportunity when it comes. Those 2 doesn't have the stamina & energy to last a whole season anymore. In Arsenal, he has to compete with Vieira, Fabregas, Pires & Reyes.

I agree Han. Shipping him to Man U would be great for all parties. He'd have a better chance of getting minutes (not amazingly better...) we'd finally fix our LB problems with Heinze, and Man U would get a great young player who might finally explode.

Imagine if we added both Heinze AND Samuel.

----Heinze--------Samuel------Cordoba---------J. Zanetti

Can you say Treble? :star:

Part of the deal? Part of what deal? Emre going to Valencia in a part deal for Fiore? Fuhgettaboutit!

Perhaps we'll go all out and bring Valencia's Italian trio to Inter, Di Vaio, Corradi, and Fiore. That would be interesting. Recoba and Emre going the other way.

And what would we do with Di Vaio and Corradi? We have enough strikers already. Even if we get rid of Cruz and Recoba, Di Vaio would be our 4th striker. Without speaking of Corradi.

True. So how about we sell Recoba, and maybe get Makinwa as a backup?

If no-one gets injured comes January, he could go on loan somewhere.

Adriano+Oba+Vieri+Cruz, that's perfect. Only a youngster is needed, who'll be happy to sit on the bench and learn from these champion, and play if something happens to the others.
