Like I said many times, all the big stars will play for Madrid and Barca. All 9/10 and 10/10 players. EPL sign 7/10 players.

Working with Guardiola might actually be able to entice some players that otherwise would go to Madrid or Barca...maybe.

I think Aguero will certainly benefit from him.

so apparently they are planning to use Claudio Ranieri name as one of the roads in Leicester. He seriously should consider of retirement if he wins the EPL.

I seriously doubt it. Madrid and Barca are in the league of their own when it comes to attracting players.

Well if you put it as Madrid/Barca vs Man City, then yes

But combine Man City with the Guardiola and Sheikh's $$$, then it is a fair fight

====================

m09, just curious, how would you rate your season, under the assumption that you don't make the CL? It's fascinating because despite your crap performance, you've managed to groomed up some very exciting youngsters in Martial & Rashford. One could argue Lindgard as well but I personally don't rate him that high.

That is the only positive impact Van Gaal has made on Utd this season. It's true that injuries might have forced his hand a bit but there's no denying that you will have a very difficult time in finding a manager who will start - home grown - players who play football more on video games than on the pitch in a club as big and demanding as Utd.

If they reach 4th place I think it's an ok season for Utd, the football was still extremely difficult to watch, the type of football where you'd (or perhaps just me) rather be reborn as a pig and eat your own feces instead of going through one of their matches. The fact that other big clubs like Chelsea, City and Arsenal have somewhat under performed this year might soften the blow of how bad this season has been for the Red Devils.

This season is a massive failure even if we secure 4th place. Boring games and so many scoreless games. We have scored just 39 goals in 31 league games, that's simple unacceptable.

Like you said, only silver lining is Martial and few kids making name for themselves. Rashford, Brothwick Jackson did well when played, Varela looked good enough to be at least squad player and Fosu Mensah looked immense talent. Did very well whenever given chances. Agreed with Lingard, he is squad player at best.

Also one more positive is Smalling's emergence as dominating CB and Blind's performances as CB. Both played really well this season.

I just want this season to end and Van Gaal should go. I will respect him for playing kids though, gave them platform to show their talent (for whatever reasons). Hopefully we hire Jose and he will continue playing these kids.

In short, this is the season to forget.

Finished 3-3, too bad the Hammers couldn't hold the lead.

Random fact, Sanchez is the only player to have scored a hat trick in the PL, La Liga and Serie A.

Vardy scoring twice today, Leicester up by 10points with only 5 games to go. Tottenham is playing ManU next, both teams chasing something , could end with a draw.

This will be Kane's biggest game of his career, I'll be keeping a close eye on him.

Meanwhile Shaqiri's free kicks saving Stoke, Lpool playing with a strange line up as well.

Also Tottenham 0-0 with ManUtd, hopefully it stays this way or they lose.

Spurs impressive again. Their fight is with Arsenal, mainly, for the second place, unless Leicester start dropping points immediately.

Spurs is competing for the 1st place and it is not far from their sight despite being 7 points behind.

Their next 5 matches are Stoke, Soton, WBA, Newcastle and Chelsea. While Leicester has Man Utd, Chelsea, West Ham, Everton and Swansea. On paper, Leicester has a much tougher road. They need to win 3 out of those 5.

West ham Everton and Swansea. Easy. That's ignoring the fact that they've been very impressive against top opposition. I think they will do it to be honest.

Spurs winning the title is my dream outcome, but Leicester played hard games before and won, and as much as Leicester has a tough road ahead, Arsenal has an easy one. Arsenal will most likely not win the title, but they can catch up with Spurs.

Leicester has 3 home games 2 while Tottenham only 2 home games.

Leicester does have some tougher matches, but I wouldn't say that much tougher. They both have Chelsea away, and Leicester also have Everton and Swansea at home who in the bottom half. Their matches vs. West Ham and Man U are tougher though.

With Tottenham, I can't say yet how tough the Newcastle match is because it depends if they're fighting for survival or not. Also need to keep in mind that Leicester is able to afford mistakes, Tottenham pretty much needs to win every single game, and how that Leicester fail to win 3 of the 5.
