Well it's a deal, dear me with Ballack and Sheva it'll take a tank to stop Chelsea this time around.

@cozzi and Hell-all: I understand what you mean, but how can you know if Mourinho really wanted Sheva (who wouldnt want him?) or is he just kissing Abra´s ass. I dont think Joséééééé is an asskisser. But like i said, i dont really care...
We wont know for certain if he wanted him or not, but after saying things like 'i am the special one', and 'after God there comes me' Jose looks a bit incompetent after spending millions on flops like drogba, essien, SWP he has proved he is a poor spender of money. Jose doesnt like spending millions on the worlds greatest players because he wants to remain the biggest star in the dressing room. Shev is also not a typical Mourinho signing, neither is Ballack.

To Frisko - I dont think it will take a tank to stop Chelsea, I think there could be some new champions next season. Chelsea are like a ballon. You keep blowing air into a baloon and eventually it will pop in your face. Abramovic keeps blowing money into a ballon and soon it will explode with a big bang! I think there will be major probs at Chelsea soon, they will not go one forever.

I dont agree with you here ;)

SWP flop yes, but Essien and Drogba?

Comeone mate, they were very important players in chelsea's second title. The only thing way i see them being held back this season from the 2 major trophies are major injuries

Cech
??????-??????-Terry-??????
-----------Makelele--------
Ballack---Lampard--J.Cole/Essien
--------Drogba--Sheva----

Paolo at RB is not good enough, Del Horno should be at left back but we all know that sadly didnt work out and at CB well Carvalho just didnt cut it for me eiher. And depending on Gallas staying he can fill any of those roles.

does the three question marks mean, that you guys are gonna buy 3 more defenders?? Lemme see, Nesta, Zambrotta and J.Zanetti should do it :p .

EPL has already been decided. Chelsea is gonna win it by more than 15 points. About UCL, well they have the best team in the world right now. (nothing to be proud of, any idiot with that much money, can easily make a dream team like that), but UCL is decided on luck. And hopefully's Chelsea's luck will run out. Its gonna be soo good to see them dump out of CL next season

I said it somewhere else too...let's hope they sign Carlos for the leftback spot.

Then they have bought themselves an Achilles heel.

Yeh.

Oh how I would love Del Horno at Inter next season if he was able to repeat his form of 04/05. Things have just got so down hill for him...

H1-

Yep Essien is the biggest flop of all. All last summer we were hearing about Essien and how he was going to light up the league, but he is a poor player for £24mill. Maybe i was a little harsh of Drogba but Chelsea should have better players than him. This will be the team next year.

Chelsea Line up 06-07

-----------Cech
Paulo Terry Carvalho R.Carlos
---------- Makelele
-------Lampard---Ballack
Robben-----------------J.Cole
----------Shevchenko

And if anyone is interested in betting, drop a little bit of money on Liverpool for the league next year. Rafa signed a new four year deal so he wont go to madrid, and with a few quality signing i think they will win.

Care to explain this one, helal? ;)

Chelsea have signed Nigerian youngster Jon Obi Mikel in a £16m transfer.

Chelsea will pay £12m to Manchester United as well as £4m to Norwegian club Lynn Oslo, who had reached a deal to sell Mikel to United in April 2005.

The agreement resolves the future of the 19-year-old midfielder, who has been the subject of a bitter dispute between the three clubs.

United have agreed "to terminate their option agreement" with Mikel, whose registration goes to Chelsea.

"Under the terms of this agreement, Chelsea will pay Manchester United £12m, half payable now and half in 12 months, and Lyn £4m, half payable now and half payable in 12 months' time," said a United statement.

United thought they had secured Mikel's transfer from Oslo after he signed a pre-contract agreement with them in April 2005.

But the Nigerian subsequently claimed he had been pressured into signing the contract and wanted to join Chelsea instead.

A statement from Chelsea said: "As a result of this settlement all claims in this matter, which Chelsea were never an official party to, are now withdrawn.

"The payments do not in any way imply the acceptance of any such claims and have been made solely so that Mikel can resume his career.

"United will support Chelsea in any work permit application, if necessary.

"All parties have agreed that there will be no further comment on the settlement or any of the allegations or claims."

It's ridiculous. Man Utd get payed to shut up for a player that has never played a game for them.

Very ridiculous.

The money they spent on him could of been put on Aguero. Better be worth it, yet still. Free money for Man U:rolleyes:

Spurs have announced they have bought Zakora from St. Ettiene. This is a hell of a signing, cos he was great in the WC for Ivory Coast and he will do a great job for them. The bad news for Spurs is now that it looks like Michael Carrick is going to sign for Manchester United when he gets home from the WC.

Zokora is a great player. He's strong enough to make it into the Premier League... Players need a lot of stamina there, he has it ;)

I liked the guy ever since I first saw him, maybe it was Eurosport highlights of French football(St.Ettienne)
