Inter President Erick Thohir has met with Steven Zhang and then the squad as Frank de Boer hangs in the balance.
The Coach is expected to be sacked by the Nerazzurri, and even a win against Torino tonight may not be enough to save him.
To make things worse for De Boer, the club’s President and minority owner is in Italy for Friday’s shareholder meeting.
It’s thought the Indonesian met with Steven Zhang, son of Suning Group owner Zhang Jindong this morning, with the Coaching situation one of the topics up for discussion.
FCInterNews reports that Thohir then spoke to the squad in a Milan hotel where they are having lunch ahead of tonight’s game.
The Beneamata certainly appear to be sounding out replacements for De Boer, with reports in France suggesting tentative contact with Laurent Blanc.
In addition, Andrea Mandorlini has only denied “direct contact” while Edy Reja also threw his hat into the ring.

Inter President Erick Thohir seems to have pocketed €131.6m interest for the money he put into the club coffers.
The former majority shareholder sold a chunk of his stock to Suning Group, the Chinese conglomerate that took over the Serie A side.
After yesterday’s shareholders’ meeting, La Gazzetta dello Sport looked through the financial documents and found an interesting quirk.
At the moment of selling his shares to Suning, Thohir received €131.6m in ‘financing and matured interest.’
This suggests he took home somewhere between 8 and 9.5 per cent interest on the money he used to increase the capital, effectively loaning it to Inter.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim the original agreement was to leave that interest in the club coffers.
It raises questions over Suning’s investment, as the €180m refinancing deal is backed by a 7.7 per cent interest rate.

I don't know if this might be somehow related to him still having shares of Inter (probably not), but apparently he is investigated for corruption. nothing to do with Inter, it's related to the Indonesian Olympic committee. of course i hope he can prove his innocence.

I didn't say he was accused, but that he is being investigated. I genuinely think he is innocent, we are talking about ~ 650.000 euros, a whole lot of money for me, you and any user of FIF bar enjoy, but not much for a man like Thohir. I don't think he would risk to go to jail for so little money.

Thohir joins former Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi in publicly backing Juve over Real Madrid for Saturday’s showdown but seemingly failed to mention Juve out of loyalty to Inter.
“Certainly I’ll support the Italian club because they’re certainly a good team and with that, Serie A would improve its image,” he told the Indonesian Press, reports Calciomercato.com.
“Real have their strengths, but there has never been a champion for two consecutive seasons in the Champions League.
“If they did, it’d be a remarkable result, but we hope Serie A drives up its image in the world after the three [European] cups won by Inter and seven by Milan.”
