Cambiasso gave some nice longer passes against Dynamo.

Too bad his ball control is so poor, otherwise he could be used as box-to-box midfielder further up on the pitch.

he's ball control isn't world class, but it isn't poor either. IMO he lacks the speed, size and he has too much of a defensive mentality. box-to-box is a role he could grow into if he were 5/6 years younger. Passing is always good, just needs more movement from his team mates

We need to rotate the role between him and Deki, it will help both the players and it will not help our opponents defence as one is right footed and the other left. Cuchu is quite smart while passing the ball especially when he is the attacking third, its a pity he goes there just one-two times in a game.

The only thing that I noticed about his game last night was that due to his latest setback he played a touch more safe than usual. In other words did not go forward as often as he is used to and got involved in less tough challenges. Basically he just played it safe. All in all though I thought he was good. He should be back to his usual standard v Catania.

Maradona finally decided to call him up. This has worked out perfectly for inter, he didnt have to risk injury and play any of the qualifying games and now we can watch him at the world cup :)

Maradonna has shit for brains. Cambiasso is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and he excludes him from the squad. Also, in the game against Brazil, he played a couple of defenders that play in Argentina and were either making their debuts for the national team or had very limited experience. Why not call up Samuel? Stubborn bastard!

Congrats to him for being called by Diego. :star:

I feel like saying
"Suck it, suck it and you can keep on sucking it."

To all those Cambiasso doubters. :p

I don't think anybody in their mind doubted him.
Now where the hell is Samuel?

Possibly the fact that despite their potential, his team performed so poorly in qualifying that if he persisted with such poor selections in terms of his final World Cup squad, Argentina would possibly be out after the first round. Or maybe the convincing factor was Cambiasso's undeniable world class.

Finally Maradona called him up. He definitely deserves to be in the squad for World Cup along with JZ, Samuel, and Milito.

I heard he got off because he had a knee injurie....
Does anyone have any update , why do we have to be so unlucky with injuries , are we asking for so much when we want to play a single match with our starting eleven......:depress:

am I the only one that thinks when there is high tempo when he's off the pitch the team performs a little more?

No, that's why Mourinho took him off the game in half time.

Great match by him tonight. I don't know why the people blame him for our unsucces in CL , he does his great "dirty" job in every match and did it this time too . I can't understand why mou replaced him and not an inexistent motta....??

Because Motta has a "can attack" on his CV, easily our best player in the midfield after Sneijder and will start in most teams in the world. Haters ignore.
