McGeady has barely played for Everton at all so I'm not too sure he'll start actually. I don't think McClean from the start is a good idea either so to be honest I don't know how the front 3 are going to line up. We're pretty poor in squad depth so any suspension really effects us. Even as I look at it again the attack looks terrible. I'm holding out some hope that we go for two up front and O'Neil surprises us.

Where will Pjanic play? Are there others near him that are dangerous? The one thing that Whelan can actually do is take people out of the game sometimes, in doing so he becomes useless himself too mind you.

I hope he doesn't because like I said, fast and tricky players are probably our biggest weakness. I still remember Weiss raping us when we faced Slovakia in the WC qualifications.

Ever since Misimovic retired from the NT Pjanic has been played in a #10 role, even though I think he plays best in CM. We'll probably go with

Begovic
Mujdza-Sunjic-Spahic-Zukanovic/Kolasinac
Hadzic/Medunjanin-Salihovic/Medunjanin
Visca-Pjanic-Lulic
Dzeko

Besic will replace one of Medunjanin, Salihovic or Hadzic for the 2nd leg. Visca and Lulic are both lightning fast and can cause you trouble on the wings, Dzeko and Pjanic need no introduction. We also have Ibisevic who's a good goal scorer, Djuric who's scored 2 and assisted one in his last 2 games with us, Hodzic who scored against Olympiacos last night (we've been linked with him as well, he's good, '94) and Krunic, who's now a starter for Empoli. So we have quite a few options. Hajrovic's also there but he's been irrelevant for quite some time now.

Long still not included in Southampton's squad for the weekend. Hasn't played since he was injured against Poland. We're looking really light up front. On the plus side, Keane might make his way back onto the pitch.

If we had Kolasinac, I would play AnyonebutMujdza - Spahic - Zukanovic - Kolasinac. That seems like only one goal conceded. Sunjic, even though Stuttgart player doesn't give me much confidence...

Good news for you so. Long ruled out of the first leg. Down to the bare bones for this.

I believe that doesn't have to be a handicap for you. I mean, we played our most important games without Dzeko, then came Serie B forward Milan Djuric and solved the situation. These games are like derbies, form and quality may not be decisive.

NORWAY - HUNGARY. Great draw for norwegians. Euro2016 seems near now. They are huge favorites.

Norway has a problem with scoring goals as the strikers they selected for the matches against Hungary have in total scored 3 goals in 48 matches. This simply can't make them huge favorites against an underrated team like Hungary.

Bosnia vs Ireland today, looks like this will be a dull game. Ireland will defend and try to get a draw. Haven't see Irish team playing open attacking football in years.

Hoping for Ireland win though. O'Shea, Brady :proud:

O'Shea will probably miss both legs, he's suspended for the first anyway. Long, Walters, Given, O'Shea and Meyler all out. McGeady hasn't played a minute in the league this year. I can't see Hoolahan being played in an away game when we have the return at home in a few days.

It's probably going to be the shittest match of the round. Keep an eye on Keogh though, the guy is a rock in defence.

Oh yeah, forgot O'Shea's red card against Poland. Long is a big miss though. So now Keane will start game isn't it? Long's pace and work rate will be a big miss.

Also hopefully it's McClean and Brady on wings with Hoolahan behind striker. Watched Hoolahan few times this season and he was very impressive. Maybe watched his good games. Btw I think Hendrick will play as RW.

Very risky to put McGeady without any match fitness.

It will probably be Daryl Murphy from Ipswich up top on his own. He hadn't scored all season until last weekend where he scored a hattrick so mixed feelings really. He's pretty much just there to get physical with the strikers before throwing Long on when they get tired but now I don't know. I would, along with most Irish fans, love to see Hoolahan start but every Irish manager seems to think he's this mystical fantasia who can't play more than 60 minutes a week.

Is that fog in Bosnia or smoke from flares? Just tuned in, looks crazy.

Fog, IMO game should have been postponed, at least second half. Begovic said he didn't see Brady at all, he saw him when he was already running towards the goal.

In the end, Ireland is probably Euro 2016 participant. We should have qualified directly from the shittiest group in Qualifications, now its too late.
