Maybe there will be a place for Roma (American owner) and Napoli (ADL spoke about this league nearly a decade) also as a founding members if Bayern, PSG and Dortmund stay on their decisions.

Somehow I can't shake the feeling that Angelli orchestrated this to fuck with our imminent Scudetto, or at least divert attention from it. Worst case scenario, if UEFA decide to ban the clubs this season as a punishment, Serie A will follow suit and we could be banned from Serie A this season. I know the chances of this happening are small, but I just don't trust that bastard Agnelli.

What else is wrong with the league? Are you kidding me? So teams having guaranteed spots in that special league feels right for you? Tottenham currently sit 7th in EPL. Arsenal can't even qualify for Conference as things stand. What business do these teams have in a tournament with the best teams in Europe? Inter could get relegated and they would still play in the league. You always had to earn european qualification on the pitch and rightfully so. It should never be given for "historical reasons". And calling this league European is a big fat joke when they have included teams from only 3 European countries.

Agnelli orchestrated this because he couldn't win CL. Just think of the teams that eliminated Juve in recent years. Ajax. Lyon. Porto. They have all been excluded from ESL.

The thing which is ruined is that the domestic leagues aren't as competitive because the fight for euro spots is taken away. Well, not taken away but the meaning of an euro spot is reduced drastically. Because it won't pay to you too much (as UEFA sponsorships will go down hard).

I want to retract my previous, positive statement.

Anyway guys, we are all a dying breed. 50% of 18-34 year olds in Britain don't mind the change (BBC-survey) - almost a third encourage it. The number is even larger in Spain, apparently.

Some of you may stop watching Inter, and stop buying merchandise, but you - we - don't matter as much as those who just want to be entertained. Football has changed dramatically over the course of the last 15 years, and the course was set in this direction.

It sucks, because either this will succeed in which case the commercialization of the sport will probably be vomit inducing, or it will fail and Inter will face punitive measures.

Either way, we've proven to be a greedy club afraid of competition who will lie in bed with Agnelli, and that is pretty far from the ideals I normally associate with this club.

It boils down to if you want to see completely meritocratic system as it is right now or system with super teams playing each other every other week. With current cl model, prize money and huge amount of jojo teams that get in cl based on merit but then are out for numerous years, you can't have that amount of concentrated quality in one competition.

For me, it's the second option, although I can definitely see high moral ground in choosing the first one, and that's the highest amount of empathy I can give to these smaller teams cus in all honesty I really don't give a fuck about sass or parmas of this world nor do I pretend I do like some of these virtue signaling cunts on social media.

Who cares? Who fucking cares... back when we had even less money than we do now we had enough to spend 40m on Kondogbia and 45 on Joao Mario. The larger prize pool will just make players more expensive and stock holders a lot richer, and at what cost? What impact will this have on future generations of football players? Will we ever see another Barella or Bastoni?
