the main financial imapct of suarez is offloading his wages. Wouldnt be surprised if he was effectively free + a golden handshake (however it materialised). a 5 mil transfer fee is nothing in the scheme of his salary tbh

dont forget they're also just off of a transfer ban, have sold hazard, and are back in the CL. They probably have a lot of cash to splash if they want, even without sales.
