Do you reckon there is any chamce of all 3? Brjng in a cb and put the other two at chievo or parm or someone for a couple years...

TBH, and as Vince McMahon would say... No Chance in Hell...

Igor and Valber are both from the same team (my team here), with a money loving SOB as president, so he knows, despite past contacts for Igor with Inter, that a bidding war is imminent, this for the defenders, both of them probably among the best in this U20 here. And Nico, well, he's the co-leading striker of the U20, so that's that...

Very hopeful question, strange for you browha. You know we won't be signing these hyped wonderkids. We'll either sign shitstix like Rocchi and Schelotto, or shrewdly find interesting youths we weren't expecting like Laxaltive and Kovacic. We won't be signing the Leandro Damiao's, Lichnovsky's, Lewandowski's or Quintero's for quite some time.

Mate, TBFH, neither of them are true wonderkids, just hyped kids... In fact, lemme repost a past comment about Igor Lich and his mate Valber...

"
I prefer Lichonvsky but Huerta is very good. I think Lichonvsky would start for us quickly but Huerta would def need 1-2 seasons before he'd get playing time here

Mate, Valber has been bossing Chile's defensive line, and has quite better mentality than Igor Lich..., mainly because he has gone step by step here in Chile. TBH, both need to learn how to defend in higher leagues, and are in no way first team material just yet, nor short term solutions, but should be looked at as young projects. Valber, to me is more useful to us here in Inter, since he's a lefty, and God knows how hard it is to get GOOD left footed CB nowadays..."

IMO for example Damiao and Lewandowski are in a bit different category than Quintero, let alone Lichnovsky. :D

is it really that impossible though?
we're talking 6-7m for the pair maybe?

bearing in mind there is no defensive talent in our youth team - pasa is closer to a DM like Benassi than anything, Donkor is years away from being ready, Paramatti is also YEARS away from being ready...

I could honestly see a double swoop like this being perfect, along with JJ & Rano, for fixing our defensive issues for a long time to come. Androelli is clearly not a starting solution, he'll be the Cordoba/Materazzi for the last few years, and is the Silvestre replacement. If we release Samuel, then we need at least one defender capable of competing with JJ/Rano, and we can make up the rest of the CBs from squad depth (JJ,Rano,Andreolli, newguy/Chivu, 1 of Huerta+Lichno)

Castillo I agree seems a bit harder, but at the same time, we are clearly after him and I think Moratti has a lot of faith in Angeloni - as witnessed by blowing 2.75m on a complete unknown - so I dont think tyhe idea of investing, say, 10-12m in the trio is IMPOSSIBLE.

& TBH with us signing Kovacic, it seems harder to get Quintero - though I'd love to see Kovacic playing behind Quintero - so if at all, why not blow the Quintero money on 3 young prospects?

ah yes, we do have the campagnaro thing... not official yet, but yes, probably done.

him over samuel is ... a big claim...

i'd still love to see us signing both of these young CBs - Lichno should get an EU passport soon if I remember, which means we could bring them both in

Quintero, the same guy that yesterday had only a free kick well placed but stopped by a small GK and a few passes, and who was controlled by either Huerta, Lich or Martinez? Not to be nationalist, but he isn't on a "different" level as a player, only has more Serie A experience, IMO, he should have mattered more with his play time, and not controlled by 1 of 3 guys who are 3rd option here in UCH...

Campagnaro is the Samuel replacement (if we get him). It's clear Lichovsky, Huerta or any other kid doesn't compete in the same category.

Kovacic has signed contract until 2017. To fans, he said: "FORZA INTER!"

so
4 1/2 year contract, 11m cost, amoritization is about 2.2m/season net affect on books, salary of 2.2m = total cost 6.6m/season.
not bad at all.

Chivu is OK. Could already play vs. Siena.
