The messi-goal was not spectacular or anything. It is always the same: if there is an award, messi has to be nominated.

For me the Rooney or Neymar goals are the best ones, but my vote goes for Stankovic

I almost said WTF to Heather O'Reilly's goal when seeing it listed, but after re-watching I understand.

Not sure why Messi's goal was there, don't get me wrong, it was alright, but not the most elite strike ever.

Without Bias, I'd put Neymar, Stankovic and Santos in the top three. Santos's goal sure hurt, but what the hell can you do?

o reilly - well really nice goal but probably chosen to fullfill the women's quota
and as fucked up and unbearable as women's football used to be in the past, i do see some pretty decent performances of female footballers these days which i think is a good thing
just wondering why they dont have their own best goal rankings and then 1 award ceremony for both, women and men

and messi: one of his 100000 goals deserves to be on this list and you know it - just not sure why they took this one when he scores much more beautiful ones on a weekly basis
maybe this was decided by the same idiots that refuse to implement video proofs and the like - they probably asked the refs about which one they liked most
