I’m not going to pretend our shit form at the beginning of the season was all on Handanovic, but Onana elevated us to another level when he took the number one spot. Switching between Onana and Handanovic changes how we play, which is why I think it’s a bad idea. Onana plays almost like an extra CB at times. The backline is comfortable having him there as an outlet for passing and someone they know can cover a lot of ground.

I get wanting to keep your no 2 sharp. But Handanovic has played recently and this is a final. Our home game against Sassuolo should have been his send off salute.

I wasnt commenting on that, I was just answering the question, he started 5 of our league losses this season, so almost half.

5/11 is 45.45% I mean I don't think the goalie was the issue. The Skriniar contract and the strikers not being able to fking score is what lead to alot of those loses. Plus we are suppose to win these games the pressure got to the team and a counter or 2 fkd us. It's been a weird season that hopefully is over soon. We could also finish 2nd. Tho I prefer CL, Copa Italia wins to finishing 2nd.

Noone is suggesting starting him. Basto-Acerbi-Darmian should always be our first choice but in the event that someone gets injured, I sure will feel hell alot better to have Skriniar than Dumbo as their replacement
