BUT, I'd recommend sticking to Fm 08 for now. The game is freaking annoying when it comes to injuries. I had like.. Zanetti (EVEN HIM!), Ibrahimovic, Veira (very realistic when it comes to him tho' a +1 for that), Chivu, Cambiasso, Balotelli, Adriano, Muntari, Maxwell out at the same time. And the injury per game ratio is terrible.

Also on a side note, you start the season with only Materazzi, the rest CBs are out (which of course is the same as in real life) but Burdisso should be fit since he wasn't out.

Apparently not because there are threads on sigames site about injury problems. Some do not experience this problem, but the majority of the ones who are posting are very pissed that they cannot enjoy the game because of this.

On the game, the injury bug is absolutely a bitch. after passing november, injury rate is getting slow though.

I tried using 433 formation for inter, but it failed . Wingers are not good, i even have to play figo most of the time coz others suck.

But seriously. Haven't gotten to my first competitive match yet and the results in the training matches are a bit like Inter, I admit few goals, but won one 5-1. Anyway, the stubbornness dates from the demo, where I played eight games or something in Serie A and got 7-1-0 13-1. So I'm still hoping it will work on the full version, because as we all know, the team has been hampered by injuried players, recovering players and players participating in the Olympics. And no, Adriano hasn't been drunk yet. Although injuried So many primavera players have played, and some of them has acutally improved a lot by just playing for a couple of weeks.

Sold Cambiasso to Real Madrid. I initially refused but they raised so much that I couldn't refuse in the end. Bought Palombo and Veloso for those money. Plus I bought Vela for the money I had initially. Right now I'm considering selling Materazzi, have gotten a good offer from Portsmouth. Caldirola is good enough to let Matrix go. After all I have Burdisso (at FM he is good ), Cordoba, Chivu and Samuel. Plus Veloso can play there. Dacourt I sent to Chievo and Crespo went to Spurs.

I have a second line-up which is still 4-3-3 but with one the wingers turned into a striker. Usually this will be to play Ibra and Adri together. Destro, Santon, Bolzoni and Orlandoni for the CL list. Figo, Cruz and Obinna/Jimenez left out.

tried 433 in preseason, it works fine. but when the league started, it become worse. since i am not a big fan of 433, i switched to 442 with some modification. not final yet, still under development.

for this first season, i want to play with the same squad as in real Inter. The only player transfered in on summer was henry saivet (bordeaux, 17 y.o). He is in u20 team right now. Considering in previous FM where youngsters can develop well enough playing in reserve/youth team only, with good training schedule ofc, i keep all of my promising youngsters there. They are santon (d/wb/m/am r), bolzoni (dm, mc), fossati (mc), tremolada (am rl), saivet (am rl, fc). For now, i use my own training schedule, based on fm2008 players attribute rating, since no one posted a reliable ones on the net yet.

Since you can have two players over 21 y.o there, i relegated rivas and obinna . Rivas moved to sevilla on winter. Obinna still stucks there.

I have made future transfer for second season though, including matias fernandes (villarreal), angel di maria (benfica), criscito (juBe) and adem ljajic (partizan, 17 y.o, coming in januari 2010).

so far so good, top of the league (19-6-0) and 4 points above juBe. Unfortunately, injury bug is a bitch. Lost burdisso for the rest of the season.

I signed a promising youngster from juventus. My scout recommended him so I thought I have no other choice than to save him from wasting his talent at a club like juventus

17 years old, it shouldn't be too late for him. His name is Fausto Rossi

in my current game, my scout did the same.

i looked at his stats, and have to agree that he is going to be a good winger, just don't know how good he will be.

been thinking about signing him, but since i have a primavera player with same position (tremolada), i think i might skip it. since i still in march, maybe i have sometime before summer to see how tremolada progress before making final decision.

btw, does anyone know what stats that a coach needs to be the one who gives precise "coach reports"? They don't give the same report when you see a player profile. Since there are different segments like position, CA, PA, personality, strengths, weaknesses, training progress, i am curious whether there is only one criterion needed so that one coach cover the entire report, or each segment require specific stats (meaning different kind of coach for every segment.).

I've been playing the 4-3-3 which already was in the game, but it was a real flop. I drew all the time and landed on 10 place.
I've got pissed so I've decided to make my own tactic and after I applied it (dec 5) I've went on a rampage. I have won every single game since then and I'm currently on 18th jan.

I hope it'll continue Need to get passed Roma who are first(lol)

Finally got the game. Didn't have any issues with the activation system itself,chose the steam option. But I had to struggle 15 minutes to figure out the last letter of my key code, some idiot though it was funny to print a t so that it looks like a 1.

Anyone found a great tactic yet? I keep struggling against weak teams with compact defence, yet I'm doing very good against tough opponents in the CL. I'm PAO btw, not Inter.

I'm currently using a 4-5-1 formation with 3 players in AM, two of them wingers, a DM and an MC. I managed to qualify from a CL group made up of Liverpool, Roma and Atletico Thought I wouldn't even score a single goal in a group such as this but my players apparently are pretty good.

I bought Paletta, Rat and a young Brazilian called Raphael Carioca so far.

I need some help with the tactics guys...

Well first the question. I'm sure all of you are playing first with Inter, like me, so did you add Serie C league ? If so... than you're fucked.

There is a huge bug with Serie C cup, where the game crashes no matter what you do, every time on 24th of July 2009. It will be fixed in next patch... whenever that is(wow, SI is so lame lately).

Up untill this moment the game itself is pretty cool. Definetly the best from all the FM versions, for me.

I see some of you guys are trying to make Arsenal out of Inter, buying all those "young" dudes.

If I want to buy some young tallents for the future, I do it when I am playing with Wisla Krakow, the club you can't do anything else, because you don't have enough cash. But with Inter, you have so much money, go and fucking use it !

For me, it is the same pattern every year. I go and play with Inter for couple of seasons, after I'm bored, I take Wisla and play with it for like 5, 10 sometimes even 20 seasons when I'm bored to death. With Inter... it's just too fuckin easy.

This time, I bought in the first season, Di Maria, Arshavin, Huntelar, in a winter break Hamsik and some young brazilian deffender dude, and the year after that Aguero, Benzema and Veloso. (I've sold Adriano, Dejan, Burdisso, Crespo, Obinna, Suazo, Jimenez, Cruz - free, Dacourt - free).

It was going sweel... until 24th of July. Now I have to wait until Winter holidays, for them to release a new patch to fuckin fix the italian bug.

(ps. I realise some of those dudes, are pretty much close to 20 years old, and doesn't fit to my "young talents" philosophy, but if you pay like 50 mln Euros for Aguero, it's hard to call it a bargain deal - you know what I mean)

Adriano is really hard to use..I can't fit him in a 4-4-2, 4-2-4, or 4-3-3..

And his potential seems to be rather low in this game ..

i'm on top in the league now, play 17 times, 16 win 1 draw, scoring 41 and conceded 7 , and win all the champions league stage
