Should we use the option to buy Guarin?

First time in years I see him play in his original position, not as a RW, RF, SS or any other bullshit like he`s been used at Inter.

Come on man vucinic was a good player in his day. Inconsistent but with quality. Theyre selling him for 6m to some arab team no one has heard of not a european giant. 6 months ago he was almost swapped with guarin.

Porto is better at selling imo

But the difference is Porto is selling players in their prime Juventus is a club selling dead weight, typically.

Thought he had a good 2nd half. He was quiet, which is exactly what he needs to be more often for Inter. Kept it simple and won the ball, if he could do that at Inter he wouldn't be for sale.

He performed better in the second half, although in both (in overall) he was decent. His accuracy sucks balls but at least he won some challenges and played simple than we used to see from his game in last season. :D

Guarin is difficult to move because of his salary.

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fi&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fcinternews.it%2Frassegna-stampa%2Fcds-guaro-il-super-ingaggio-frena-la-cessione-ora-156988

I think I've heard this story before with Inter. Player earns too much compared to his quality. Clubs who could afford his salary are not that interested because Guarin is not good enough for them, at least not for the price asked and salary.

Sounds like an excuse setup so that when we can't sell for a good price, we can point to this. It's not like he's making sneijder money. He's making wages that fricking teams like everton pay their players.

While everybody is selling their shit and deadweight, Inter seems to always have these "issues"...

Are you sure? In England they report the wages as gross, but in Italian media it's always net. So basically Guarin's 2,7m€ net salary equals to England's 5,4m€ gross salary. Are they really all making that much there?

Yeah, In England wages are reported as Gross. Checking the Everton team wages the highest paid player was/is Baines who is paid 70K pounds per week gross. I think the rough calculation comes around 2.2 Million Euro net.

I was aggrandizing, but I hope you get my point. Everton is a mid-table team with ridiculously low budget, income e.t.c. yet can pay a player just 0.5mil less than us. There are TONS OF PLAYERS making more than guarin. TONS.

Guarin's wage is not a problem. Like I said, it's not like he's making 6mil net like Sneijder, which is near the very, very top of the market. Guarin is near middle market for solid players, especially for solid players on good teams. Just look at the salaries on all the players on ManU. Even players like ashley young are making over 3mil euros net, which is already more than Guarin.

If we want to sell Guarin but can't, it will have nothing to do with his salary that's for sure.

Which is one of the reason why we are not able to sell him. Also there are some rumors that his signing on fee is part of his wages.

Btw I don't think any top team are interested in Guarin apart from Juve whom Inter might not sell and for smaller teams wages are issue. Not sure what the ideal solution is for this sage as he isn't good enough for top teams and his wages are high for smaller teams.
