When is he starting to practice with us? Is he called up for Brasil's international games coming up?

A lot of Brazilians on the internet have been extremely pessimistic about Gabigol.

However, they also touted Robinho as the next Ronaldo and Paulinho as a next generation B2B midfielder, so who knows?

But if you're really good at something, why not seek better pay for your service?

The trend literally starts in Brazil lol. Literally every prospect I hear about from there has the "next ____" moniker.

Gabigol: 'More than ready for Inter'
By Football Italia staff

Gabigol claims he is 'more than ready' for Inter and Serie A as he bids Santos farewell.

Alongside Joao Mario, the young Brazilian striker is one of two major signings brought in by Suning at the very end of the market window.

“Santos pulled me out of Sao Bernardo, where I'd have had scant opportunities,” said Gabigol in his last Press conference. “Now it's time to pay them back.

“The decision to leave was totally my own. Now it's a new beginning for me, I'm going in a truly great club.

“I liked the talks I've had with them, both the Coach and the players. I'm going there to help Inter. Here at Santos I learned many things, not only as a player but as a person. This is my home, as I've been here for 10 years.

“I like having pressure and feeling challenged, and for me this is just another challenge. The Italian championship is very competitive, and full of great teams.

“I'm more than ready to go and play in Europe. I'm going to go with my family and friends. And there are great Brazilian players in Italy too. It's a new challenge and I'm anxious to get started.”

You think any of our players are here for the shirt? If we stop payingeveryone's gone, except Ranocchia we're seemingly stuck with him.

Good, they didn't allow him that idiotic nickname on shirt. Or is this real?

Hopefully that's not real. Giving #10 to him would be outright ridiculous.

Hm, I think G. Barbosa sounds like a better name for the shirt, but Gabriel B. sounds fine too. We should leave the #10 vacant tbh, dunno if Gabigol is a worthy receiver of it yet.
