Updated, they were pretty generous I think, we were just piss poor, JC being the worst, Mou really messing up too (why on Earth Pandev played that long, and why does he keep on starting when he's been crap for a month now??).

Frisko, who should he play ?

Double piss poor Quaresma, or superIdiot, who was out of the first team for known reasons ?

I'm sure that if Balotelli was behaving well, he would play a lot of times, when Pandev simply HAD to play, because there was no other way.

I see...

And where does it say exactly, that for Jose chances of winning this game playing 4-2-3-1 (even with Pandev), and 4-4-2 are the same ?

5-3-2 requires 2 attacking full-backs if we want to create any chances and control the game

people might be pissed because mourinho is playing pandev but 4-2-3-1 with pandev is a better formation than a 4-3-1-2 with muntari

Inter - Juventus (April 16, 2010)

Julio Cesar: 6
Good reaction on Del Piero, and he was a spectator until the break. In the second half, two good saves on Canavaro and Diego but those were predictable shots. Never fear for him.

Lucio: 6.5
Usually at risk because he often engaged in risky ball dribbling in the situation when he just should clear it. But he has heart and was very effective.

Samuel: 6.5
In addition of being the wall in the defense, he was also noted for a couple of raids in the area of Buffon. He almost got it on target in the second half.

Zanetti: 6.5
When you see the progression at the 40th minute in the second half, his pace was quicker than half of the Juve players, you can't help but wonder: was this man raised on Mars? :shades::cool:

Cambiasso: 6.5
Another useful and intelligent performance by this super skilled worker. In the first half, he was a risked on a few situations but in the second half he gave the impetus to initiatives.

Motta: 6
Play only in the first half partly because he was with a yellow. Mou fears that after Sissoko, the referee may be tempted to balance the game.

Eto'o: 6
Was very generous, almost across the field. The great run led im to a mother of all chances but he missed it badly. He redeems himself at the last minute.

Sneijder: 5.5
It was an evening with little inspiration. Was like a stranger in the first half, revived in the second when the Bianconeri were in distress.

Muntari: NA

Pandev: 5
Confirming that he is not physically fit to perform the job by starting over Balotelli. Mou continues to trust him though. Oh well...

Milito: 5
The movements are always useful and intelligent for maneuvering. However, he needs a couple of extra training sessions on... shooting. Can not continue to pull these elementary mistakes.

Stankovic: 6
Came on after the break and at the 19th minute Buffon was required a feat to stop his shot from twenty meters out. Committed an unnecessary foul on the edge of the PK area that shook San Siro in fear.

Balotelli: 6.5
His main contribution was the free-kick which turn Buffon to stone. Very lively at creating.

Maicon: 7.5
He scores a goal in the most delicate moment of the game, that is when the team needed it the most. It was a masterpiece like... Messi's. Juggling it three times and then took a right footed which has pace and very precise.

Mourinho: 6
He got all three points needed to put pressure on leaders. The change of Pandev-Balotelli could have been done a lot earlier. Leaving Balotelli on the bench now just doesn't make sense.

Overall: 6.5
Suffered too much, then they used the numerical superiority to their advantage.

zanetti comment is extremely accurate....what the fuck is JZ eating/drinking/smoking?
i need some of that shit

and lmao at the pandev and mourinho comment....i guess it is all too obvious how disgustingly poor pandev is and how mind boggling it is that he is still a starter (mancini/deki part II)

Inter - Barcelona (April 20, 2010)

Julio Cesar: 7.5
He had many saves but one stood out as the best of them all: the save from Busquets' header. The last half hour, Barca had the most possession but there was nothing for him to do.

Maicon: 7
If it were not because of the goal of Pedro where Maicon had his share of faults, he would have received an 8. Demolishing Barca with his raids. He put the hammer down on his wing.

Lucio: 7
Maxwell went pass him and made the cross, that is the only real blemish for this match. It was an important performance. After the break, he covered the majority of the rough patches.

Samuel: 7
The central defender came out of his line a few times when Messi was eying the goal. He played with strength and has returned to the Wall a few years ago.

Zanetti: 7
In his position, many full-backs would be wrecked in front of the tandem of Alves and Pedro. The captain did not give up.

Cambiasso: 7
He is the third suspect in the goal of Pedro, the one with fewer responsibilities. A small one. But many fishes ended up in his net, Messi and Xavi in particular.

Motta: 7
In tandem with Cambiasso and with the help of Samuel, this veteran laid to a substantial impotence. Started the third goal for the team.

Eto'o: 7
His work rate made Barcelona brittle. Repeatedly put Maxwell and Puyol in stress. Started the first goal with his low cross for Milito.

Sneijder: 7
More than once he crosses paths with Xavi and came out the duel winner, not only for the goal. His action to start an attack was the difference.

Pandev: 6
The least convincing. Escaped Dani and Pedro in the midfield. He doesn't attack as you know him could and not defending as he should. Arrived late for a great ball from Milito.

Stankovic: 6.5
Before entering, Mou was talking to him about the expectations: pressing, attacking and defending. Stankovic run and bounced on every ball. Too bad for the yellow, will be disqualified.

Chivu: 6.5
With his helmet he was on the left, and Zanetti moved to another wide when Maicon out with injury. Fearless on high balls, the head injury was digested.

Milito: 8
What rating should he get if he some how put in two goals in the first half? 11? He has two assists and one goal and believe it or not he was not that effective.

Balotelli: 4
Threw down the shirt. No one does that.

Mourinho: 8
He molded his dirty dozen, people that for him would have been thrown into a pit of tigers with empty stomachs. Al Pacino in "Any Given Sunday" seems like an amateur in comparison to him. There is a time to sow and one to collect.

Overall: 8.5
Extreme intensity, beyond human limits. Fierce application.

LOL at Milito's comment. I thought it was his worst CL performance.
