Yes, Mancini was definitely at fault.

Coaches make mistakes too, it's just whether it's a forgivable mistake or unforgivable mistake.

He had mistakes. The same goes for De Boer.

Even so, our problem now is not the coach, it's the players mentality. Changing Spaletti would just make us waste more time before adressing the big issue in our locker rooms for the past years.

We don't need two changes in the line-up... we need all players playing at the same level they presented in the beginning of the season. If Perisic, Candreva, Vecino, Valero, Icardi, etc played 80% of how they performed first 10 matches of the season, I wouldn't care less if Spaletti decided for Candreva, Karamoh or Perisic.

I think Spalletti has to bear some of the blame for what is happening but to put it all at his feet is simplistic.

When you combine FFP with the edict of the Chinese Communist Party and the combined effects they have on Suning, we are simply fighting a losing battle. The squad can not be adequately reinforced, we can not play at the level required to make the top four in Serie A and then we start all over and repeat the cycle at the beginning of each season.

Truth be told, I feel sorry for Spalletti. He is trying to achieve the impossible with players that are not up to the task. The fact that our main reinforcements in the winter were a player that has been injured for nine months and a third string defender speaks volumes. What do you expect him to do? It is not like he has players sitting on the bench that can can impact a game. We have a gaping hole at left back. The centre of our defence is fucked when Miranda gets injured/suspended. The likes of Vecino, Valero and Gagliardini are hardly going to impact a game; Brozovic and Candreva are a joke and Perisic has been so disinterested that you would think he is just having a kick around in the park. And then there is Rafinha: the fact that we want to put some much faith in him shows: (1) our lack of alternatives; and (2) how desperate we are.

Today, we got a glimpse at what lies ahead. The likes of Icardi, Perisic and perhaps even Skriniar will leave in the summer, we will not be able to acquire the necessary players that help us make the leap in quality to qualify for the Champions League and due to FFP and the CCP we will to continue to struggle.

The way I see it, Inter are doomed to mediocrity for the foreseeable future and this will not change until our owners (or different owners) can spend to all ow us to make a qualitative leap.

Let’s not forget what Icardi said after Fiorentina-Inter, January the 6th: “We lost the spirit and the will to fight, it’s noticeable even during the training sessions”. They are basically repeating the same concept of last season.

Ausilio rarely misses the chance to appear and proudly speak before the game, while playing his agenda behind the scenes in a “power vacuum”, while a peaceful Zanetti was eating ice cream in the stands during halftime (seriously).

I guess it’s harsh to focus on a surrounded Spalletti and his mistakes when there’s such a need, in this hysterical environment, of a “repulisti” involving both team and management, but well, it is what is.

Bring on Benevento and then the tour de force.
There’s more madness left in this season, for the good or for the bad.

Its Spallo fault when the attackers upfront is a mediocre 32yo Samp level at best, a 1998 kid, and an out-of-position crosser. The only other option on the bench is...another 1999 kid.

Its Spallo fault when he has ZERO PENNY to spend on the crucial winter Mercato, hence the best option to get is a glassman for the attack, a Benfica backup for the defense, who is now a Ranocchia sub.

Its Spallo fault when he has to give full trust to youth, while he is getting that much "trust" from fans.

You guys are incredible if :yao: truly incredible. I write this a thousand times, now once again. THIS IS THE SAME OWNER OF A NEARLY RELEGATED CHINESE CLUB WITH CAPELLO AT HELM. FFS.

Wtf lol

Just checked the score. Pandev, Ranocchia, Inter, Laxalt. None of it seems out of place. Sad thing is, we’ve come to expect this, as have these sorry lot of players.

I already said it, sack Spaletti asap for temporary morale boost.

Once the morale goes down again, sack the next guy as well.

CL money can be our coach compensation fee every season, who needs reinforcement when we are shit at finding reinforcements anyway.

Not watching Inter is not enough. I should probably not even check the score anymore. Jesus fuck, how the fuck do you lose 2-0 to Genoa :yuno:

This team legit ruined my love for this sport.

One thing i noticed is our midfield. Its weak as hell. Not one decent midfielder except for rafinha who is a loanee. Compared to last year its weaker. Fucking inter! Just delete the club

point is we can play football that wins us games as we saw at the begining of the season but somehow our players turn to shit after one or two bad games... or it was just a fluke, nevertheless we played that kind of football

again i feel something deeper is happening here
