Stuttgart moving three points closer to the Champions League next season and, in the process, move into a tie with Bayern with 60 points. Incredible season for Die Schwaben, overshadowed of course by the season Leverkusen's having but still a fantastic achievement in its own right.

Dortmund and Leipzig tied for the last CL spot, Leipzig +9 in goal difference, still a head-to-head left in Leipzig before the season ends. Of course, if Germany gets a 5th CL spot through coefficients, then it's all for bragging rights in the table and nothing more as 6th place Frankfurt is way behind.

Bundesliga and Premier League have been quite entertaining this year for the neutral observer. Leverkusen had a wonder season. I remember way back in the day when Leverkusen had that beast team with Ballack , Lucio, Berbatov, Ze Roberto they finished 2nd I think behind Dortmund and on same points as Bayern. This current team though is probably the strongest and most entertaining they had and thats saying something.

Drogba didn't score a lot of goals either, but he did score important goals. That's the only thing really missing for him to be fulfill his potential as a player.

I like watching him tho, no Diddy

Yeah, not gonna impugn who's only 20 years old, plenty of time to get better at that area of his game, but Sesko's chances that he failed to convert against Madrid very likely decided the entire tie.

Openda, Sesko, Xavi Simons...all very nice seasons for Leipzig this year.

Bayern is playing with 2 Tottenham players. What did people expect

I dunno 'mate, you tell me.

Congrats Bayern

great start to this joke.

Just give the title to Bayern... the only way this trash league would be watchable is if Bayern starts with -15 points.

congrat to Kane scoring from the center field... anyway, joke of a league.

Anyways...

really hope Bayer finally wins it.

Your wish has been granted.

Congrats to Bayer 04 Leverkusen!

I know Xabi is going to end up at Real Madrid some day, and that's going to be some electric football the day it arrives, but I hope he's still got at least two years or so at Leverkusen before it happens. This Leverkusen team is special, they don't sound like they're going to get picked apart over the summer (Wirtz has already confirmed he'll stay this summer), this team deserves a chance to mark an era.

Bayer can win mini tripletta without losing a single game.

City can do double TRIPLETTA.

We can win our 20th scudetto with a points record if we go for it.

What a season of football.

It has gone under the radar but former Liverpool player Naby Keita has created a real mess at Werder. When he was informed he wasn't starting in the away match against Leverkusen he refused to travel with the team and instead he chose to go home. Now he is banned from training with the first team and entering the dressing room and it's likely his contract will be terminated.

Werder forward Ducksch words highlight how surreal the entire situation was:

“I have never experienced anything like this before, I’ll be honest. His clothes were still on the pitch. At some point in the shower, people came in and said that he had left with his private clothes.”
