Their success is about time, they've failed in the most recent tournaments in the crucial stages but this time they didn't let themselves down although it was a great game in overall by both teams, especially kudos to Argentina for playing a superb game (playing well in defence and also very dangerous in counter attacks).

Sorry for gloating, but we just won the World Cup in South America, and that without Reus or Guendogan (who would've both been starters). Missing them made us more static.

With them back and with the mid 90s years born talents about to come through (Ridiculously stacked. Can't wait for Timo Werner to become a world star), we'll be an absolute juggernaut for many, many years to come.

It just shows consistency over the years. The one thing that might help you make your case is that Germany always loses against Italy. Every nation has their bogey team though, and I'm glad it's Italy and not some less successful team. Though it's not our fault that Italy flops in the group stages when we have our strongest years. :troll:
