I gotta say I'm with Vito on this one. I don't even get what this one-dimensional thing is supposed to mean. Pazzo is what you call a classic forward who will score when provided & it ain't nothing wrong with that. Since joining a few months ago, he has been personally responsible for 6 sweet points (Palermo & Cesena) in situations against all odds.

If your understanding from a striker is Messis & Ronaldos who will get the ball, dribbling their way through that shit & finally score... well, the closest thing we have is the man himself: Eto'o!!! & those type of players cost
money which we're not willing to spend.

Pazzo is just fine. Invest in the fucking midfield cuz the key to a strong team is a strong midfield, which regulates the balance between defending & attacking.

Il Colosso + Pazzo = E Pazzo Pazzo gol = Win!!!

-----

P.S.: If y'all feel like fucking around with a member of the squad, go to Milito's thread. You're at the wrong place here.

We are not in Milito thread because no one considers Milito a starting player for us anymore. I've stated that the IDEAL situation is that Pazzo would be a super-sub/rotation CF, and we would have someone better with Eto'o (Milito-esque for example but better as Milito as faded totally). I've also said elsewhere that my priority for the summer is the midfield reinforcements and if the mercato happened as my priorities, it could lead to Pazzo being served much better than now and that would be fine.

But if you doesn't understand what is "one-dimensional" means then I think we shouldn't talk about this subject, let's just leave it here.

I doesn't understand what is "one-dimensional means... ha?!

Hmmm... Maybe you're right... we really should just leave it here. But just a little side note for the future... you shouldn't always take the literally meaning of the phrases. I know what one-dimensional is.

Pazzo scores when provided, full stop. Cassano was a great provider for him at Sampdoria, now Maicon is doing what he can to help him score goals. Maybe this summer someone else comes and serves him even better balls.

Bring to Inter good midfield and he will score goals just for fun. Its true that when he faids even poor Milito form seems he is ten times better. But they are diferent forwards we already clear that one. One good pass to Pazzo and that can produse a goal, unlike Milito.

I wish Inter have plenty of world class players like Eto, Mesi, Ronney, Teves, and our forwards department is so strong that we can easly put Pazzo on the bench. but right now he is second to best forward after Eto that we have. If not the only ones who right seems to know how to score. So he must be our first team choise. Milito had planty of chances to prove he can return to his form. Until he shows otherwise he must be on the bench. Another problem is our midfield who i personaly think its much worse than our forward in quality. The main reinforcement this summer must be one midlfield player and one forward.

If we get new players, then we can say who should be or not our starting players.

Pazzo could have had 2 today, but 1 will do just fine :p. Like I said before... You can't argue with results, and with the rate that he's doing at he is definitely either finding his form or hitting the stride of his form.

Interesting to notice that he doesn't like to hold onto the ball very much. He either makes quick concise passes or he is making a turn in the box and looking for goal.

Pazzini 1-on-1 with only the keeper in front of him = not dangerous

Pazzini with his back against the goal with 2 defenders behind him = extremely dangerous.

Get the ball to him in the box and he will score most of the time. He's a fantastic option to have on the bench next season and will definetely push for a starting place. If we can get him service, we have a goal scoring machine.

Most probably Pazzini will be our starting player next season. I don't see us putting heavy effort to get a first team striker. In an ideal world that would be okay (which I have been talking about in this thread), but we really need to put money to our midfield first.

If he scores then he woudnt have to be.... I dont mind him being starter but if we sign 2 AM's then Pazzo will have to push very hard to get in.

If he wanted a guaranteed starting spot, he shouldn't have signed for Inter.

Regardless, I think he'll start most of our matches next year. Even if we sign someone like Sanchez, I think Pazzo/Eto'o/Sanchez would be the first choice strike force. Unless we go and do something stupid like waste a bunch of money on another center forward.
