I'm not worried about Pazzo AT ALL. When Wesley is back and Ranieri has us in full swing, he'll be banging in goals again left and right. We just have to be patient, let Ranieri work and get us through the ugly period and get us some results, believe what I'm telling you here.

Milito seems to be up to be playing football again this year, but Milito will not be at the top forever, especially at his age. Another dip in form ( which I pray doesn't return could be a career disaster ). Pazzini is here for the future.....and with a tricky forward ( i.e Tevez could could be unstoppable at the top of the pitch ) if Milito decided to quit.

Not saying that my opinion is the truth.. but the truth is that he is useless most of time and hardly offers anything in our game. He's nothing but a very limited striker that is only dangerous in the box with his finishing and good heading ability. He's hardly useful with ball when needed to past the opponent or co-operate with teammates with passing, moving and so.

And my first sentence was just about how other people non-Interisti see him. Whatever man! I'm glad most of you guys are satisfied with his performance. Not gonna argue anymore.

You are right...and he was even more useless last season!

In my view, Pazzini should be a certain starter against smaller teams at home. At home against those lower teams we can play him as a poacher and stack him in front of playmakers like Sneijder, Alvarez, Forlan and Coutinho. In those games we will have the majority of posession and a player like him will be perfect.

Against teams like Milan or in the CL....I'm just not seeing it tbh. It can almost be as if we're playing with 10 men. That spot Pazzini takes up can be better utilised by an extra body in the middle or someone who can actually take on opposition in a fast-counter attack. Something we will be heavily relying on.

Ya, put Zarate in place of him, right Hal? :palm: If we had Zarate, our only forward that realistically fits your description, we would have lost that game 3-1 or worse.

Dude WTF? Don't let your love for Pazzini blind you. I never ONCE mentioned Zarate in my post...so where the heck did you get off on a tangent!?

I mentioned 4 names specifically when referring to playmakers. All could play as the proxy wide forward I am talking about.

Sneijder, Alvarez, Forlan and Coutinho.

Great goal, worked hard for the team can't ask for much more really. Get the feeling half the people bashing him aren't even watching us play, by about the 70th minute Milito looks absolutely stuffed and of course Claudio is going to take him off, Pazzo is still able to hold the ball up well play with his back towards the defenders, help ease the pressure on the rest of the team. We play Milito for 90 minutes every game he'll burn out like last season.

Well I don't know man...we now have 7 straight wins with him in the starting lineup. He obviously isn't fucking things up too bad.

thats what ive been thinking. he has scored, and helped create space/distractions in the final third. he can do us well but we need to get over the fact he is not milito.

If I understood him correctly, he feels that Pazzini should only be used against smaller Serie A teams and should be benched when we play the bigger clubs and when we play in CL....

Right now, Pazzini does an enormous teamwork in every game. It's not that easy for a striker to win balls, to be pushed around, tackled, fouled by defenders during 90 min's. Milito did this teamwork when he wasn't scoring, but he is more fragile, Pazzini is like a rock between defenders !

If the service sucks, Pazzo will not play well but there's no doubting how hard he works for the team and in terms of conditioning he's better than Milito. Once the midfield starts pumping assists, Pazzo will be there I'm sure of it.

Better conditioning than Milito? Really? I guess I don't have any evidence to say otherwise or back up my thoughts but for some reason, I've always thought Milito is the better physical play. In terms of speed and stamina at least.

I think Pazzini definitely has more stamina. He puts in a few hours of :pazzini: and then plays a full 90!
