doesnt change the fact he started zanneti and cambiasso in the same midfield and used two 32 y olds to break on the counter. we played decent with what we had but we could have done better. we have a balanced squad for almost any formation, we just need the right coach to bring the best out of them.

God man, that is the point of a tactician and a coach. If this "tactician" was worth a pinch of salt he would devise plans, movements, patterns with our offensive players in conjuction with the midfield to play to their strengths so that we can create goals, by playing as a team. Assperini has done none of this, it is especially more painful when you use the incorrect personnel Milito/Forlan and play your players out of position...
Gasperini is a tactician not Harry Potter! Never in the past decade has our attack been so old and so poor! Eto'o scored so many goals last season, because he had to! Do you really think Zarate and Forlan are as good as Eto'o?! Surely you're not that stupid!

I love how every team we play is trying to rid themselves of old players, but you seem to want to develop them.. Our squad is old and slow.. We can no longer work with any formation. because of that.

Sorry to say, but that is nonsense.

We've just played a team that has invested €53 million (net) this summer, as opposed to our €0.5 million.

Or maybe, just maybe, we're just not that good? The one positive I can take is that we didn't concede.. FINALLY!

I don't give a shit why he has done such a fuck'n dumbass substitute like this one. Maybe he wanted to use him to give Sneijder more room, maybe he thought he was a player of amazing talent. Point is, it failed miserably and SURPRISE SURPRISE it had no chance of success because he chose our worst player ever to effect some naive tactic he had on his mind. I can't FUCK'n believe that there's someone actually defending this guy. What do you want him to do in order to judge him as a failure?! Do you want him to order Julio to score own goals?! Inter is in shambles and although our players are not of Barca quality, they are much better than this. It's not like this guy was our first choice anyhow. GOD

Oh and we didn't concede because Roma sucks ass this season.

I will, blame Gasperini, or any coach for that matter when the fucking management doesn't fuck up the team, then hands them control! The substitution was stupid, I agree, in theory, but improvement was clearly seen, which is all one can ask for when a substitution is made..

We're not broke.. we just prefer chasing after shit like Palacio and Kucka than doing real scouting and signing real players..

This sums it all up
Peep! Peep! Peeeeep! The referee Mazzoleni finally puts this game out of its misery after nearly six years of injury time. Inter and Roma have produced their first goalless draw in eight seasons, but far more worrying than the result was the shocking lack of quality on display. Inter, in particular, looked directionless, simply a confused muddle of players lacking shape, unity or ideas. The final whistle is met with a hail of whistles, but if Gasperini does indeed wind up losing his job after this, his fourth match in charge, then it is the club's directors that truly have questions to answer. What were the criteria that led them to approach managers as evidently diverse as Capello, Villas-Boas and Bielsa before finally landing on Gasperini? If the manager always intended on playing a three-man defence, then why wasn't he allowed to bring in personnel more suited to that system? And what sort of message does it send when your directors sell Samuel Eto'o and then replace him with a striker in Forlan who is neither a like-for-like replacement, nor eligible to play in the Champions League - a fact which they themselves admitted they had failed to notice.

He has a point though, the team played its best stuff after that change, as much as it hurts me to say it :/

Look, thankfully we have Novara next, so therefore, if we lose, or an uninspiring draw, hes out, then nothing can be said. Remember, SAF was nearly sacked at the beginning of his reign but only for a late equaliser i believe?( It was before my time, its correct yes?) After this struggle, coming through it will onle make the team stronger.

We need to win next game, if not, and if not convincingly, its bye bye Gasp

I challenge you Neon Blade and your ridiculous font, or anyone here in fact, to answer this...

I dont know about Neon, but I know that a good manager adjusts to the team, a crap one makes the team adjust to him.

Tell that to Jose who won a treble by making the team his own!

I know that a good manager wouldn't sub out Forlan for Muntari as center forward...

when mourinho arrived he said straight away he wants to play 4-3-3 and was determined to play it. The board brought in 3 awful players to accomodate this too, Mancini and Queeresma.

Mourinho continued the next summer for this formation, and look where it brought us ;) Gasp needs boards backing for this too work, think it might be a little late now though, dont know if he'll see winter transfer market.

BTW, Im not trying to draw comparisions between Gasp and Mou, i know its impossible.lol

Why are we broke? What has changed over the past 2 years? We are still in the Champions League, and our average attendance hasn't really dropped. The point is, Moratti decided not to spend anymore, and the fans have accepted his decision because he has lead us to the treble.

Now, I respect Moratti for everything he has done for us, but we should be aware that we will not be getting a top class coach any time soon, considering our fiscal policy.

He adjusted to the team. Then saw how he could perfect it and bought players according to that by selling first. 4-3-1-2 was never his, he invented 4-2-3-1 from that.

Gasp can easily grind the results out of this team if he decides to play to our strengths, but its clear he wants his own ideas and doesnt want to budge, even after saying he's not that egotistical.

It's a total system failure, most of it is due to the management shitty decisions. But after what we saw from Gasp these last matches, he is going to fail even if he has the best players ever. I do blame the management surely, all inter fans do, but I 100% agree with Suneet that a crappy manager makes the team adjust to him. So again, Gasp exacerbates our problems.
