It's true that Italy does not give enough chances to youth players. When Maicon goes I would like to see us give Santon an honest shot at being our starting right back. However Donati is not ready for us and as a back up to someone his same age will never get time if Santon succeeds, better he is loaned/co-owned with a Serie A team. Hopefully more Italians will start to get a shot younger, things like Giovinco shouldn't happen again, as you can see the Azzurri needs it.

Maybe we should loan him, but this option is bad. If he'll be bad player so it'll be bad, if he'll be good, they'll buy him and it'll be bad too.

watched this match for the sake of this guy, and I can say that if he doesn't make it #1 we will definately have a good backup, he gave ronaldinho relatively a really hard time and was quite tireless . He performed OK imo for his first serie A match, especially reflecting his age.
