We merely had to make them an offer of 25-30m in January to book him for the summer and it'd be done already. Now he's signed a new contract which only leaves room for a loan + obligation formula, but other than that, I doubt Cairo will keep him captive.How we could have closed it for less?
It's not going to exceed that amount by much unless we want to get Pinamonti's (I guess) value to 25 or 30 or something, but this stalling is always counter productive from a valuation perspective. Happened with Barella and it didn't really work with either Eriksen or Lukaku deals.
