That has nothing to do with it..Although Japan and Croatia aren't so popular as England, that doesn't mean it's going to be boring game..Actually, the match was very dynamic with plenty of scoring opportunities, shame it ended goalless..

Once again, don't get so excited over nothing, I told you, unlike some ppl here, I have nothing against England, wouldn't mind to see them winning, but I hate your style of play..Boring, predictable, boring, boring..

Very good England in the 1st half, disappointing once again in 2nd..Sweden almost went into lead with 2 unlucky strikes on the crossbar..

Like it or lump it Crouch is the most in form striker at the WC and it would not be a major suprise to see him win the golden boot.

I am sorry cozzi you generally seem like a nice guy but I just had to laugh at this. Crouch the most on form striker? Wouldnt be surprised if he ran out golden ball winner? Man that is come classic english pride right there.

I guess that is why Sven decided to drop him from the starting line up today in favor of two semi injured shmucks, wouldnt want to use your ultimate weapon too early in what is going to be a very long tourney for the three lions. The amount of chances he bombed over in the TNT game alone was ridiculous. Good thing he finally got his goal with a hint of a foul on it as well but whatever the guy is the on form striker of the competition so far.

Forget Klose, Torres Petey Crouch has got the guile, the technique, the vision and not to mention the gangly limbs to bring the woirld to its knees before his majestic feet.


As for today's game Englans was special in the first half, I really enjoyed watching them and Joe Cole was owning, the Cole^2 combo on that left hand side was absolutely devastating. No question he really gave the team a massive boost and scored a special goal today. Too bad Sol decided to suck and managed to screw up what should have been and easy clearence to gift Larsson and co what has to be the worst goal so far this entire tourney.

Is it me or does Terry seem incompatible with alot of CD's? Him and Campbell had no understanding, and his duo with Rio is average at best.

I agree with Mike, Joe Cole is an ace and should move somewhere where he is appreciated. Man, I wish Arsenal signed him. If they had him, Eboue, A Cole, Toure, Henry, Cecs and Hleb, Aresnal would be to me what Chelsea is to Helal!

i better apologies to hargreves too. even though i think he is waste of space he did ok i suppose. also even though its sad to see owen injured again, it has got to be a blessing in descuise. if england plays rooney and crouch then winning this world cup should be no problem at all. England do play boring football, but the person to blame for Erickson for being a prat. We have the best squad at the WC but apart from Holland (who are the most boring team of all time to watch) we are so dull to watch.

With gerard, lampard, rooney there is little doubt we should be exciting to watch but were crap. blame erickson for being a muppet!
