De Sciglio is scary good and it's an investment for the next world cup, so in my opinion it was the right decision.

De Sciglio had mediocre season with those injuries, but he is young and last year showed that he has world class potential.

Criscito on the other hand, i don't know how he does in Russia, but to me was always vastly overrated player. Decent in everything, not great at anything.
