Denmark is quite competitive. I think they will do big things. I can see them going through semi-finals at least.
I'm thinking they top the group lol

Denmark is a really good team, but I think after they get through, they will collapse.
France gets through, surely.

What makes you think they will collapse eventually?

I was thinking of teams I def see in the semifinals - Belgium, Argentina, France, Croatia - so I believe that as soon as they meet a team like that, they are toast. Football is unpredictable tho, ofc, but I don't see their form to be big team killers at the moment. They HAVE all the parts to become the next Belgium, a team full of similary old talent, but not yet there. Would love to see them beat any of the listed teams, I'll cheer for them for sure.

The main dark horse of the tournament for me is Uruguay. Don't want them to disappoint me again. Quarterfinals should be a minimum for them.

Why would you think they would get eaten against teams like France, Belgium, Croatia, or even Argentina? Well, Argentina is super motivated and of course they will fight to death in this tournament, but teams like Belgium and Croatia aren't THAT good anymore and their declining has been major, meanwhile France won't do big things IMO.

Besides, Belgium was never impressive. Their attacking department was pure quality, but their team was too raw in overall and has always disappointed when you consider how people expected them to perform. Out of the European teams, Denmark has shown the most consistency. In the last Euros tournament they have shown that they could do damage to any BIG team, and they have everything what it takes to win things. If they weren't robbed in the semis vs England, they could probably pull a miracle in the final, you never know.

Why is Croatia a semifinalist here?
I think they'll struggle.

Interested to see Australia as they sometimes are a tough team to beat.

Look, I'm just spitballing and also doing some wishful thinking.

France will be interesting to watch without Kante and Pogba. Probably Tchouameni and Rabiot starting

Croatia has a deeper squad than 4 years ago, in my opinion. Some croatians are even feeling this is their year

And just like with Messi, this is Belgiums last chance to win something with these players.
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE, I forgot Netherlands. I choose Netherlands before Belgium.

In the end it's gonna be Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Germany

I'll be cheering for Australia as i live here just now and they have the only Scottish born players at the WC.

Nkunku getting injured is such a disappointment if he had started over griezmann he could have been one of the players of the tournament.

Also calling Kolo Muani and Thuram over Diaby seems very harsh considering their respective previous year but i suppose he sees Thuram as an option through the middle.

As much as I like Denmark and want them to succeed, I think their forward line is really lacking. Defense is good and experienced, midfield is stacked, but their forwards are just not enough for a potential semi-finalist or even quarter-finalist. Braithwaite is a meme, Poulsen and Dolberg have not scored in their domestic leagues this season, Cornelius last played in a top league for Parma when they relegated, scoring an impressive one goal all season.

They would need a miracle and all their forwards to play the games of their lives for Denmark to reach semi-finals.

Considering my luck with the punt, I'll put money on an Aussie draw and a France win to support the lads.
