Brazilian players: Being hit on the shoulder, act like your nose is broken.

To anyone watching, how's Brazil playing?

2-0. They play just good enough to win, they were under pressure for some time though (enforced by Ljajic mainly), got their shit together and scored again.

Is it just me or is Allison a bit shaky? The goal against Swiss he should've went for in my opinion given that the Swiss player was literally standing in the 6 yard box. Today he flapped an easy cross for Mitrovic to get blocked by Silva from 5 metres out. Obviously Brazil haven't been tested much but he doesn't seem to be at his best imo.

I think Alisson and SMS have been greatly overrated. I'm seeing these 80-100 mill fees for them, and thinking wtfh? These guys have performed well for 1 maybe 2 seasons, and they're on par with Icardi in price? Was watching some highlights of SMS in these group matches and he's so awkward in tight spaces. His body positioning is all wrong, he can barely control balls, and gets bullied off the ball so easily. He has some nice passes and is good aerially, but a CM that can't even position his body properly to receive the ball, and gets bullied that easily off of it, is nowhere near 100 million.

I think these two guys are worth 20-30 mill at the most. Lazio/Roma are just overhyping them. They're WAY too rough around the edges to merit those fees.

SMS is easily worth 60 million, he dragged Lazio to 5th place.

Eder, Rano(need a new CB after they lost their best), Borja(need a new CM :) ), Padelli(selling their GK to Liverpool) and Candeva(because we are nice) for SMS or maybe maybe we can add another youth player or $4-5 million. Maybe resign Guarin for free and include him in this deal :)

SMS is a bit overrated but I think there are a few reasons he hasn't been as good for Serbia:

- He's not as familiar with the team. The first world cup game was his first competitive game with the team and he doesn't yet have that understanding with his teammates, not to mention that expectations have been set too high for him.

- In Lazio, he has someone like Immobile in front of him who makes great runs that SMS can make use of. In Serbia, he has Mitrovic in front of him who works hard and is a beast in the air but he doesn't offer much else.

It's either teams spend a lot of money on players to improve, or you line owner's pockets with (more) billions of dollars. You pick.

Coutinho was absolutely amazing, I enjoyed that assist a bit more than I should have. SMS is overrated, he was mediocre against Costa rica, invisible against Switzerland and double invisible against Brazil last night. And then this guy has the audacity to state for the press that he thinks he should be rated 7.5-8 for his effort in this WC, quoted. If he is worth 100mil then Rakitic should be worth 200. I still think Mitrovic was a bad choice, and that a single striker formation was a bad choice as well. Very dull football from our NT.

Wait Lazio aren't selling their goal keeper to Liverpool?

Yeah, and Immobile being the top scorer in the league had nothing to do with it. Lazio scored more goals than anyone in the league.

Luca Toni led this league in goals for a bottom table team less than 3 years ago; it doesn't really say much.

Cool, being the top scorer in your league with almost 30 goals doesn't say much, even though they were only that high because they scored the most goals out of anyone in the league. SMS dragged Lazio to 5th place though.
